    Wolves Away

    That's a gamble.

    Northampton

Remember watching him at Leamington. Decent player. Is he still contracted to Leicester?

    In 48 Hours.....

Feel like I'm missing the excitement the first home game of the season should bring. Normally buzzing with anticipation but not feeling much at all at the moment. Anyone else feel the same?

Preston Haskell; what's in it for us, what's in it for him?

what's in it for us? Not convinced he is the messiah. Has a net worth of £150 million and would take half that to clear our debt. The biggest benefit I guess is he isn't SISU. what's in it for him? Property. Development round the Ricoh could be very lucrative.

    Why I decided

That is absolutely brilliant. May just store that for future use.

    Austria Salzburg Story

Yep, 2 sides to every story. The red bull team are obviously achieving relative success. To be honest red bull would probably be worse owners than SISU. They don't give a shit about anything. At least they still play in Salzburg though.

    I believe

Problem is if SISU had the stadium then decide they have had enough and liquidate CCFC that would mean any replacement team would have to negotiate rent with SISU. Can't see them doing us any favours with that.

    Austria Salzburg Story

On the 6th April 2005 Red Bull took control of the Salzburg Sport AG company and therefore also took control of the football club Austria Salzburg. Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz publicly introduced his football advisor, Franz Beckenbauer, and the resigning chairman, Rudi Quehenberger...

    Austria Salzburg Story

Was just reading the article on the below link and it struck a chord. Although circumstances were slightly different Salzburg had similar struggles with owners who didn't listen to fans and carried on with their own plans regardless...

How much debt are we actaully in now

Think the difference is that the SISU debt is secured.

    In 48 Hours.....

I can't see a way back either. Very sad but the fans are the club so we will just continue under a new guise. Anyone who is considering the new club idea, there is a forum section on the pitchero website (think you have to register to use it) which we can use to throw ideas about. Details in...

    In 48 Hours.....

Yep, Wimbledon have helped others such as FC United and Pompey (whose situation was obviously slightly different). Sure people at Wimbledon, FC United, Darlington, Chester and others would be more than willing to lend advice from their own experiences.

    In 48 Hours.....

Not sure how we best go about this to be honest but think there are a few who have put some thought into it. I guess at some point a public meeting needs to be held to start pulling things together. I'm on nights this weekend so may look at pulling together a list of useful contacts at other...

    In 48 Hours.....

I would genuinely take either of those things now so we could move on. Club is just in limbo at the moment between life and death. The financial state of the club is that poor that I don't realistically see a takeover happening.

    In 48 Hours.....

Looking at another thread I'm not sure even the football league are convinced we are coming back.

Whatever your views don't think anyone can truly believe playing outside Coventry is a good thing.

    In 48 Hours.....

In 48 hours time CCFC will have completed their first game at Sixfields. There are a lot who have said that the club would be dead to them the second we kick off in Northampton, with this now being a certainty how many still feel this way? I personally feel a massive disconnect with the club...

    Could ACL own CC1883?

I would personally like any new club to be majority fan owned (ie at least 51%). The other 49% would make absolute sense being the stadium owners. www.pitchero.com/clubs/coventry1883/

    Hull city name change

This is everything that is wrong with modern football. Ridiculous.

    ACL seeking franchise

Never dreamt it would come to this. Makes me so fucking angry.
