    Hope... Probably more false hope...

66 points out of 33 games? 22 wins out of 33? Not a cat in hell's chance. This season is about consolidation now. 2 wins in 11 shows we are firefighting at the moment and the manager said himself that this is going to take time. Besides that, likely in Jan we will lose our best performer and...

Win a lot? The only thing that registers with this lot here at our club is dog food!

    Improvement needed all over

As Stupot and myself keep saying, we have some good players we have brought in here. We just have brought in the wrong players for this league.

    Improvement needed all over

Without wanting to sound like a broken record ..... We need: Strength Pace & Width At the moment we have the likes of Baker, Fleck and Barton etc. merely being shrugged off the ball. We're too weak. We lack width. At least the kind of width that gets to the byline and puts crosses in. Not...

    Notts County Mad match report

Notts move to fourteen not out away from home as Boucaud and Arquin hit beauties near a roundabout and a Tesco somewhere in Warwickshire. COVENTRY CITY 1-2 NOTTS COUNTY Even in just two and a bit seasons, we've seen our fair share of 'fallen giants' stumble into League One...

    Excellent :D

Would guess that there has been very little interest in him because clubs sent scouts to watch him play last season and saw just how poor he was for us. I'm sure every scout went back to their clubs and told them that the last thing they should do is to sign this player.

    Realism at last !

I got laughed out of court on here when I said this division would be really tough and we would do well to get midtable. Lots of warnings too from opposition fans and ex-players saying in pre-season, that if anything, League One would be a tougher league than the Championship. Fair few of us...

    Realism at last !

Freudian slip there, but 'grim' and bear it sounds just about right! Not so sure about baring it though. It's starting to get a tad nippy.

Anyone think we can cause an upset?

We all know we are going down to League 2! Here are 10 reasons.

Couldn't quite understand the booing at half-time at all. We should have been 3 goals to the good.

    Centre halfs

What are you talking about, you lemon! Surely CCFC are the greatest side in the world aren't they?

Robins is the man and we will not be relegated under his stewardship. Extremely confident of that.

    our pitch

We don't play with much width at all, so I can only see the widening of the pitch as detrimental to our health.
  15. Otis

    our pitch

Exactly. And everyone has better wing play at the moment. Widening the pitch will just mean more teams hitting us on the counter attack more often.

Totally unacceptable tactics and fitness. I'm OUT

We were slightly unlucky in some ways, even though it was an inept performance and that doesn't excuse things. For instance, think it was Moussa who had a shot on goal in the first half which their keeper parried. Somehow the bounce of the ball from the parry evaded the one rushing McGoldrick...

    Centre halfs

Cameron is reasonably comfortable on the ball. Wood is most certainly not. I know Wood throws himself in the way of things and puts his body on the line, but he still worries the hell out of me and I consider him a bit of a liability. At the moment, with what we've got I think I would rather...

    our pitch

Trouble is we are getting hit hard on the counter attack with opposition players having acres of space. Can only think widening the pitch will just give them more acres to run around in.

    Jordan Clarke?

Clarke is the better defender. Don't think there is much doubt about that, with Christie being the more threatening going forwards.

    Jordan Clarke?

I remember him being poor after coming back from an injury last time before coming good. Seems that maybe the same pattern could be emerging this time too. Hope so. When he was good he was very consistent last year.
