    The not so impossible mission

And probably only losing about 3 or 4 games for the rest of the entire season. When all these facts are put together it does make the whole notion look pretty daft doesn't it. Let's get it all into perspective ....... We are a team in the bottom 4 with the 5th worse scoring record and 6th...

    The not so impossible mission

So really, we are looking at winning at least half of our remaining games. :(

    Keep mcgoldrick at all costs!

What the fook has the Russian president got to do with it all? :thinking about:

    The not so impossible mission

I would only start believing if we won something like 4 in a row, or 4 out of 5. We are still in the bottom 4 and still 11 points adrift of 6th place. It would need an excellent run of form to get us anywhere close and what is worrying me at the moment is that we are not scoring enough goals...

    Sounds more like a confession.

Any confidence in a victory today ?

The point is the draw. The win is three. For a loss you get nothing. Hope this helps. ;)

    where's torch?

Not quite as good a sledge as the famous cricket one I would say. ;)

    Darren Brown Apocalypse

But seeing that bloke in his daily life I can well believe it. He's a bit of a slob. Either lazing on the sofa or down the pub with his mates. That was his world, so entirely feasible I would have thought, especially with his family and close friends in on the scheme.

Any confidence in a victory today ?

I didn't understand the Brentford confidence at all. They are very strong at home and had won 5 out of 7, scoring 12 goals in the process. Orient are a different proposition though and we have no reason not to feel optimistic about getting something out of the game today. Was going to say 2-0...

    James Bond Skyfall

Some of the one-liners are great and others just plain awful. I do hate the 11 machine guns all firing and just trailing in his wake though as he escapes. I would much prefer if he beat the bad guys with intelligence and by thinking on his feet. Being cleverer than them and one step ahead...

The worst since I started supporting CCFC in 1952

Players come and go with regularity. How many testimonials do you get these days? Players barely last a season if they are any good. Snapped up as soon as they show promise. On the other hand though you then get stuck with the likes of David Bell for 4 years.

    James Bond Skyfall

Almost the same as me, cept you have Brosnan above Dalton. The first Dalton Bond film is a bit of dud, but the 2nd is much better and I do think that he did make a very good Bond.

    Darren Brown Apocalypse

Ohh, he's so much more than that Houch. So much more. McKenna is just a hypnotist. Brown uses magic, suggestion, misdirection, hypnotism, illusion and so much more. Have you ever seen any of his live shows? The bloke is a genius and incredibly intelligent. Some of the stuff he does is simply...

Can't say I care to much for the bloke. Seems a bit of an arse and lazy, ignorant twat. Hopefully this adventure will turn him into Mother Teresa.

    where's torch?

Yep, Don. It's very clear that Stu isn't having a go at you at all. He is just saying you are incredibly optimistic (some might say insanely delusional) in your thoughts of how the season could well pan out, while most on here have their feet very much closer to the ground. We would have to...

    James Bond Skyfall

Well, I liked him at the time, but have been watching the films again on the dedicated 007 Bond channel on Sky and they do come across as very dated and Moore's outfits are just plain awful and there is also an incredible amount of cheese too. Dated very badly in my opinion, whereas Connery's...
