No one was taking the piss mate, and if no one posts this thread will quickly drop off the board meaning no one would see it and people wouldn't get to learn about the event. Surely that is not what you want? The best way to honour his memory would be to get as many people along as possible.
Would prefer not but would deal with it and go. Just think we need to sort the Ricoh issue one way or another. Trust should be thinking of ways to do this rather than concentrating on not going to Sixfields.
Was kind of irrelevant to the thread though.
May take on it - why would anyone lie about it. I'm not bothered either way. All clubs give out free tickets anyway.
When I'm in Coventry I will go and watch one of (in order of preference) Leamington, Coventry Sphinx, Coventry United.
At home will watch Wakefield or Frickley.
This weekend I'm in Cornwall so going to try find a game on locally.
Baker was one of the best midfielders in the league last year, he will be back in. Is there a chance someone else could drop out for Baker? Would mean a reshuffle but maybe Thomas to drop to the bench?
Guessing the condition was either that CCFC returned to the Ricoh or that the lease was to remain in place making CCFC liable for costs? Or maybe the judicial review?
He did ok in stabilising them before assets etc were sold off. Normally success would be determined by return for shareholders but difficult to apply that test to his work at Northern Rock.
That money doesn't go to SISU though. I might take a free ticket if offered, not sure. I miss it but I also support NOPM but a free ticket wouldn't give anything to SISU.
