another damning article by 200% - worth a read

Here you have hit the nail on the head with what many of us think. Sisu are the guardians of your football club. As CEO everything is down to Tim Fisher. You or he might not like that, but that is his responsibility. Under his reign we have seen attendances fall by over 13k, relegation...

another damning article by 200% - worth a read

Well Grendel claims that 512 (40%) is a majority of city fans so 915 must be off the scale.

Never suggested anything, sorry If it come across that I did. I just asking if there was anything in the article that wasn't true.

No that would just be over complicating the story unnecessarily. What in that article wasn't true?

another damning article by 200% - worth a read

The article is pretty much the truth, and the majority, nearly 60% in fact, of city fans know it.

Was the sky blue in the early days?....

Pink & Blue? I can only imagine that they were meant to be white and blue, but the washing lady stuck her red knickers in the wash with them.

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

Bearing in mind last seasons 6594 against Arlesley was the lowest FA Cup crowd since 1908, tonight's must surely be the lowest since the club were Singers FC?

This one from 1910 is good. I like the Sky Blue with white shorts. Looks good having the two colours.

    Blaze offer for City fans

Still think your comparison is poor. The Solihull Blaze existed for about 3 years before moving to Coventry, you cant compare that to 130 years. The Blaze simply weren't part of the community over there.

    Blaze offer for City fans

Even if what you say is accurate, how has the football club moving helped its financial situation? Less than 1k city fans tonight, worked well for them hasn't it?

Wasn't this game meant to be on Aljezzerra or something?

You might have wanted to narrow it down a bit more for them than that, they think Coventry is up to 9 miles from the Council House. In fairness I doubt they even know where we are. After all, they don't have any links to our city.

    The Trust..?

So how do you rate Sisu's performance as owners? Do you think the club is in a better state than 6 years ago? How did you feel when sisu/otium were awarded the golden share in August?

Unless the location is up for discussion then whats the point? My support for CCFC will end if they get serious with this idea, so I couldn't care less what it looks like. Also have to question her loyalty to be honest. How can a Coventry fan oversee the club building a new ground not in Coventry?

Was the sky blue in the early days?....

I asked my Dad about this once. He said for a couple of seasons the club were the "Sky Blue Bantams", and they just progressively lost the Bantams name as time went on. As for the colour, like has been said above, it was a change in shade rather than actual colour. The change to red & green in...

    Blaze offer for City fans

From Paul Thompsons autobiography. Chairman Neil Ratcliffe wanted to move to Birmingham in the summer of 1996. Talks were held with the NEC but nothing came of it. However the plan to rename the team the Birmingham Blaze still, and eventually move there was still a long term aim. However it...

If/when it is announced that the new stadium is outside of Coventry, I hope not to see any city fans helping. No City fan should assist in relocating Coventry City outside of Coventry.
