Exactly this. On one non uniform day my daughters were handed a dress code so the boys don’t lose control of themselves. Happy to say that in my eldest daughter’s year they organised a boycott of the dress code and deliberately wore what they weren’t supposed to wear. Also proud to say my...

He’ll probably be with other sex offenders so unlikely to mix with non sex offenders. Tends to be deliberate in prison to do that as it’s easier than putting them with other prisoners who like to have a go at sex offenders. So unless there’s an incarcerated sex offender who has a particular...

You can look at rates for the population as a whole. It’s far less than the Met in isolation. For instance there was a reported 850000 domestic abuse claims and 773000 sexual abuse claims in 2020 in England and Wales from a population of over 59M people. The Met is bucking the general trend by...

Yes. Compare it to another profession, any profession, let alone a profession where your job is to uphold the law. Let’s remember that the figures (that also seemed to have gone up overnight from what was being said just yesterday) in regards to the Met are specifically to sexual and domestic...

My best mates older brother always wanted to be a police officer and joined in about 1987. Dropped out during training basically at the insistence of the police force. The official reason was because he wasn’t aggressive enough but he’s always maintained that the real reason was because he...

Known as Dave the Bastard, known to be a danger to women. I know, let’s give him a gun and train him how to use it “effectively”. That’s the bit that gets me above all else. They knew he was a danger to women, did nothing about it, other than make him a more dangerous individual.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Depends on what you mean by legitimate. There’s no questioning the binary result of the question asked but result was high jacked from what was asked ie turning the clock back to 31/12/1972 to turning the clock back to 02/05/1960 and some elements are trying to highjack it again to turn the...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It was more an argument against the often touted line that half the country voted for it when half the eligible voters in the country didn’t vote for it let alone half the country. Not nearly the same thing.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

That would be a percentage of the vote cast not a percentage of those eligible to vote. Pretty sure with the unions it has to be a percentage of those eligible to vote not a percentage of the votes cast. Basically anyone who was eligible to vote but didn’t was automatically counted as a no.

Must have been a different freeloader. It was one pro fossil fuel /anti renewable Tory MP backbencher getting a “consultancy” fee from some oil company. Mind you, climate change denying Tory backbencher doesn’t really narrow it down as to who it was. A case of take your pick.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Although I agree it sort of suggests that the reason Redwood is such an awful MP is because he’s distracted. Then again I guess the reason he’s such an awful MP is because he doesn’t take it seriously enough to treat it as a full time job. Freeloader. There is an argument for giving MP’s a huge...
