Match Thread ⚽️ Watford vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 5th Nov

A point would be great, our record there is awful though the last time I went (and I'm going Saturday) we won 3-2. Trivia: which journeyman scored the opening goal for us in the aforementioned win? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Lads the club is already distressed I'm not sure why anybody thinks Ashley would need to actively distress it. It has net liabilities and is reliant on owners providing cashflow. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Why would you complicate further the deal for the stadium from a company in administration by conflating it with a takeover of a club not in administration. What benefit would it have? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Ashley doesn't need to do both deals at once, why would he mix them up when they are two entirely separate entities? To a certain extent he's got a burning platform in relation to ACL, get that deal done first and maybe he'll have a look at CCFC.

The NEC are not going to try and turn the Arena into a competitor to their other venues especially given the superiority of access to the NEC in Brum, have a think about it.

Why? SISU have more of an asset to sell on and more of an asset to drive turnover from

The NEC might say "We're interested in the exhibition hall" we don't want to run the stadium bowl generally, here CCFC is a new sublease giving you access to it 24/7. We'll hire it from you if we want to use the stadium bowl to stage a concert. You make a contribution to the central catering...

It's nothing to do with Wasps is it? The Arena is a tangible asset, of course somebody is going to look at it

Don't think the NEC would be terrible by any means, they might look to repackage the club's sub lease anyway with their focus on the exhibition hall. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Knowing our luck any investor we'd get will have leveraged the purchase on the basis of selling Vik, O'Hare and Hamer in January.

SBT when it comes to Wasps is like Twitter when a yank makes a comment on British Cuisine, all factions unite and all arguments forgotten
