Yeah, fair enough and I agree with you it is unrealistic. I suppose the council are using the defence that the only way they make decisions is through formal processes!
Agree with you, it pisses me off about investors generally in this country in that they think they are owed a return regardless. You take your chances as far as I'm concerned - caveat emptor.
I am not one to stick up for the council but realistically how could a CEO carry out his role effectively if he needed prior permission from the leader of the council in relation to any conversation? I think Gilbert is being a bit obtuse on this.
One area where he's better than JCS is the pace at which he moves up the pitch in possession, just those little bits of extra speed make a big difference imo as the opposition can't quite get set
