The teams at the top of England may not be able to compete with the top teams in Europe like Bayern Munich, Barcelona etc. but the rest of the league is so strong with the rest of Europe. Teams like Southampton, Leicester, West Ham, Stoke wouldn't look outclassed in Europe I reckon, obviously...

Surely the sporting side need to somewhat successful for the business side to also be successful. For a moment just say hypothetically CCFC leave the Ricoh in the next 5 years, Wasps have 5k attendances, not in Europe and bottom half of the premiership. Naming rights and stadium sponsorship...

If in two or three years time if Wasps hit a bad spell, maybe miss out on Europe for a couple of season attendances will be down to 5/6k. The proper Wasps fans who followed them to the Ricoh will eventually lose the motivation to go every week and the local band wagoners will find something else...

10k is almost a third of the ground full, its not even a quarter full, probably at a push its a fifth full which would be 6k which seems a lot more plausibel

They are playing quite well at the moment as well I believe and will still have a boost from the novelty factor of Wasps at the Ricoh. Suspect attendances could well be embarrassing in 2/3 years down the line combined with a bad spell.

Wasps will now probably announce 12k, italia will be smug about it and we will all be left bemused on how they reached that attendance figure.

He was given a 5 month ban suspended for 3 years in the summer after he failed a drugs test with traces of ecstasy in his sample. Will probably get a long ban if he's done something similar again.
