Kent was the usual, went past players and scared the Doncaster defence with no end product.

Pretty underwhelming crowd, hoped we could push 13k today.

Which was luck rather than judgement on Burge's behalf that day, he could have been culpable for 3 or 4 that day easily if his defence hadn't bailed him out and Burton being wasteful. Luck isn't a goalkeeping skill.

Was probably on par with Burge's Burton Albion performance tbf.

Said from the moment he came in his messing about at the back would cost us eventually and I was just shouted down. He's infinitely more talented than Burge but has to get rid of the bad habits if he is to go higher than L1 in his career.

Charles-Cook is more talented than Burge but needs to iron out the bad habits if he wants to make the step up to the next level.

He said in his interview he didnt want to make subs as he wanted to leave the pace on the pitch.

Mowbray should have used subs today, team were completely spent of energy in the last 10 minutes.

Was just very sloppy and flat today from the team, didnt really deserve to win but could have got away it if it weren't for two individual errors. These days will happen, 11 games unbeaten now, best run i have ever known and top of the league so put in perspective not a bad day.

For the first season, yes I would see it as success. Lot of good teams in the championship now.

And as for writing us off in the next league if we were to get there, just to add I'd be really pleased with an 18th placed finish in the first season if we were to get into the championship. But would it attract the casual fan to go and watch?

Well you said no reason we should lose in the championship, I see lots of reasons of why we would struggle in the lower regions of the championship if we get there. As for why not us? Indeed it could work out for us that way but also lots of reasons for why it wouldn't.

I'm sure Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Nottingham Forest were all thinking something similar when they were promoted out of league 1 also. It could happen but is extremely unlikely without significant external investment.

If we're fairly regularly losing games and languishing around 18th in the championship though would the home crowd really increase though?

13k would be decent, then if we are doing well still Oldham match could be 17-18k and another 15k attendance for boxing day to start pushing that average up to the 13-14k mark.
