    FA and the escrow account?

Luckily we can afford to pay our masters £1.8m a year interest fees though. After all, who needs a stadium in Coventry? Its all about priorities.

    The spin continues

They could then say that when they ripped Fisher's arm off it was merely a farewell gesture and not an agreement on the deal.

    The spin continues

Very good point. Dealing with sisu is a gamble for CCC. If the Council win the JR, what motive is there for them to deal with sisu?

    The spin continues

Well according to sisu's lawyers actual matchday costs at the Ricoh are only £2k. I think even a very modestly supported phoenix club could afford that.

    FA and the escrow account?

And was another legally binding contract that the club broke.

Judicial review day 3 - judgement day

Well we all knew if would never be a quick decision where ccfc are concerned.

    Ccfc impartial review

I think this is just a comment on another broken promise from CCFC/Sisu "clubs promise to post the key points on its website" Of course they are going to put their own spin on it, but why make promises that they have no intention of keeping?

    who's winning then??

No one knows whos winning, or who has the "edge", so unless anyone is psychic then we don't know what the judge is thinking. One thing I can say with certainty is who isn't winning, and that is CCFC.

Judicial review thread - day 2

So will there definitely not be a verdict tomorrow, or can the judge decide there and then?

Judicial review thread - day 2

I have family up that way so used to go up there quite a lot. 99% of the population are bitter and twisted about everything in the world.

Judicial review thread - day 2

Some posters like him just love to make themselves look stupid. For the record I am not saying Sisu have lost, they may well win, I am not a legal person so I cannot tell how this case is going. However I can say with confidence that nothing new relevant to state aid has been released into...

Judicial review thread - day 2

What is it then ML wanted to "get out in the open"? Because Sisu's whole case seems to just be a replay of all the snide remarks they made over the last few months.

Judicial review thread - day 2

Actually, serious question now, but why do you think so many direct their anger at Sisu?

Judicial review thread - day 2

Most of us direct our anger at the people who voluntarily decided to move our club to Northampton.

That's opinion Grendel, not a fact.

    Judicial Review thread

Interesting line of defence. Sounds like your suggesting ccfc Ltd and Sisu were conspiring to damage the business interests of acl.

Why the 14million 'loan; is an illegal measure

Erm the council have every right to say this. It is a democratic organisation that (in theory) reflects the views of the people of Coventry. If you or sisu have an issue with this then they need to put someone up for election (oh wait, they did). Are you saying that if someone wants to buy a...

    Judicial Review thread

No I don't believe it. All I'm saying is you cant use the judges argument one minute to support your own opinion, and then completely disregard another comment made in court that the judge seemed to accept. My argument is this: Where is the evidence to say that the rent was the made cause of...
