The numbers are probably skewed at the moment by the Hong Kong scheme. Although that quickly went from the government underestimating the number’s that would take up the offer to extending it for a year because not enough have taken it up. From memory about 6.5 million qualify either directly or...

What else can they do. They can’t fight a GE on their record in government. A phoney culture war is literally all they’ve got. What a time to be alive.

Plenty of people watch it. It just doesn’t have the same audience as F1. I’m not arguing against myself it’s just you being your usual self, know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. Plenty of sports aren’t sustainable with or without outside forces, football for one, even with BIG...

Motorcycle road racing for one. BBC Ulster covers the season (IOM TT aside) and it’s all available on the I player including livestream/coverage of the NW200, 2nd biggest road racing event of the calendar after the IOM TT. Would be lost if it was pay streaming without a doubt. And the unseen...

If sport was subscription only some minority sports would lose out as I’m not sure there’d be enough subscribers to make it financially viable. Which is why the TV license is so important.

And most of them don’t make profit from their media outlets. They’re just a tool to most of them to use to brainwash the plebs into doing what they want them to do.

Just look at its contributions to the world through David Attenborough. All the spin offs from UK comedy in countries around the world. The export of BBC UK comedy all around the world. It’s trusted worldwide for news. And look at everything you get. TV channels, radio channels, on line...

The thing that gets me is the imbalance. Firstly, I’m not sure what Stanley Johnson’s friends opinion has to do with anything at all. Secondly, once was once too many. Thirdly his wife said the beatings were repeatedly over a long period of time. Fourthly, then there’s the repeated allegations...

Ahh. That famous BBC impartiality again. Can’t state Stanley Johnson is a wife beater without someone else having to read out a pre-prepared statement saying one of his friends said it was only once.

Looks like the Tories haven’t finished with the throwing of under a bus either. What’s the betting Sharp is gone by the end of the week.

The BBC backing down is an inevitable as it was obvious on day one. Tories proper throwing them under the bus at the weekend was the final nail in the coffin. Glad to see common sense has prevailed. Shame it came to this in the first place.
