Any truly independent journalist from Russia has either fled the country, been imprisoned on some jumped up charges or met an untimely death?

You should probably look up who she is and what she does before you dismiss her, she’s about as independent as Russian journalists can be and connected in matters of the Russian penal system. Between her word and Putins I know whose word I’ll take. Has Russia even denied the story?
