    Losing £500k pcm???

I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall that the figure of 500K per month loss has been bandied about for some time now. If this is the case (given that the squad wage bill has been cut) what costs are increasing? And is it a coincidence that the cost increases have been at the same rate as the...

What do you want to see on SBT? (2012)

I like the 'awayday' info idea, and also the away fan's corner as suggested by the Reading fan.

Waggot : Bigi is pretty much a goner

Another example of the short term thinking used by the spivs that own us. Doubtless, when Sisu get their 30 pieces of silver for Bigi, Tim Fisher will assure us that it was a great piece of business. Who will be the next out of the door?

McPake and ROD likely to leave

I can't agree with you on this, OSB. I think that we will need McPake next season. But I'm sure that we will let him go if Hibs offer more than a fiver for him.

    Norwood leaving Man U

I agrre, ccfcway; but the 'we can't compete' line should really be 'we won't compete'.

    Norwood leaving Man U

No-one at Sisu has the vision to know that he would be a great signing for us. Even if the embargo was lifted tomorrow, I doubt there would be any move for him from CCFC - our owners are not interested in football except to sell players.

Could SISU be winding CCFC down?

If you think about it, Sisu have been winding the club down for quite a considerable time.

    Cameron

There might be very few big boys left - in fact, there might be very few academy boys left!

    Cameron

Cameron improved as the season went on. Next season I think he will continue to improve and be up against lesser players. He could do really well in D1 which will do wonders for his confidence, which in turn will help his improvement. He could become a really good player for us.

    more news from waggot :O(

It seems to me that his message to the fans is: 'If we don't have a competitive squad next season, it's your fault for not buying season tickets'. Presumably, therefore, Sisu are blameless................

Reminder For All - Meeting Tomorrow Night - All Welcome - Don't Be Shy!

The Scientist was bloody awful. But then, I'm a Rainbow, QUo and Deep Purple fan, so I'm unlikely to enjoy any song that Coldplay do.

Will we start the season ?

Thanks, OSB. That means at least for once Sisu will have to be 'open and transparent'. Or the least closed and opaque that they can get away with!

Will we start the season ?

OSB, am I right in thinking that 'due diligence' is a two way street? I can understand that Sisu want to see the books on the Ricoh to see what they would get; but can ACL see Sisu's books to find out if they have the money to support their bid? I find it strange that Sisu would open their books...

    what would happen if

I firmly believe that Sisu will promise anything to the council in terms of investing in CCFC if it helps them get their hands on the Ricoh. They will then break those promises and so will ensue long and costly litigation, ultimately won by Sisu. If ACL, the council or anyone else involved let...

story after story but never the truth

This story about the academy is (if true) most worrying. We would not be able to attract the most talented youngsters, even if the training they would get is excellent. However, on the bright side, I'm sure that in the spirit of 'transparency' we can soon expect a truthful statement from Tim...

story after story but never the truth

I agree with an earlier poster. OSB's original post should be sent to everyone mentioned in it.

    clive platt

Platt always gave 100%. He got kicked around but never gave up. D1 will see even more physical defending - who will we have up front who can take that? The spivs at Sisu won't replace him, so we'll have someone from the academy up front. Thanks, Joy.

    We Love You, City!

Divedive, many things are more enjoyable than some trips to the Ricoh!! I have a round trip of more than 300 miles and sometimes I think a tooth ulcer is more enjoyable. Ho hum, that's the price you pay for being a Sky Blue. But I couldn't become a plastic ManU, Chelski, Arsenal or Man City...

    Richard Keogh

He would be a great aquisition for you, and I would hate to see him go. Don't offer 800K for him. The cretinous spivs who own us would accept a bag of chips.

I wonder of any of the "bang bang bangs" will go elsewhere ?

All of them, and anyone else that were Thorn's second and third choice. We probably won't get anyone new. We'll just have to hope that last years kids have become men - who will help next years kids.
