    zavon hines

He would certainly provide the pace we need, but would he want too much in wages?

Yeah, and then used the paint to decorate their own offices!

    Refreshing

Nonleague, don't you ever get tired of sitting on the fence as far as pro/anti Sisu is concerned? ;)

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Evidently not. How long before they are back in administration?

They can't afford them; but that has never stopped them in the past, has it?

    Alex Nimely

With his pace and ball control skill, he would be a real handful for defenders in this division. He would be a real asset for us. I'd love to see him back here - but there is, I think, very little chance of it happening.

    So No Keogh Then?

I find it disturbing that Keogh was absent. If he and Malaga played so well together in training, surely it would make sense to keep them together so that they could develop a better understanding of each others' play.

Waggot: Mystery European defender to sign in the next 24 hours

Someone with Big Mo's attitude and application (but not the injury problems) would fit the bill nicely, OSB.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

Do they still have 8 players? Two more went today - Haydon Mullins to Brum, and some South African has gone to a South African club. Now they will have to use kids from the academy like we did (and they should have) last season.

    Season tickets collecton day

They're not. When the scarf arrives, it will be accompanied by a bill from the Post Office for non payment of postage. ;)

    council may lower rent?

What struck me in the article was Cllr Mutton's description of the business plans put forward by Sisu. Of course, he over simplified things (or was being sarcastic) but there was no mention of trying to increase revenue - just variations on the cost cutting theme. If these are true reflections...

Thanks, SBA88. Aren't we depressed enough already? :(

    £1 million for Bigi

I take issue with two things in Tim Fisher's statement. Firstly, I don't believe that all of the fee will be spent on the footballing part of CCFC ( and since the fee is 'undisclosed', how will we ever know?). We can only guess and base assumptions on Fisher's/Sisu's record of truthfulness...

Do We Think SISU Are Changing?

No. They are incompetent and uncaring; out for a quick buck, that's all. They may have realised that relegation from the Championship was a direct result of their actions (and inactions) and so the reduction in revenue next season will be a self inflicted wound. Perhaps they will have learned...

    Roy O'Donovan

He'd probably toss bottles of water to the players - and miss!

    Buy One - Sell One

The fact remains that with this 'one in - one out' scenario, we will still have a squad that is too small. Our financial state notwithstanding, if we want promotion back to the Championship, we need a bigger and better squad than last season. Can anyone see that happening?
