I think his job was to play right wing in attack yet drop in almost as a right wing back / full back when out of possession, with Dabo tucking in a bit. He was nowhere.

But all of Burnley's attacks in the second half came down our right? The two chances (Wilson saved one and Tella missed the other) and then the chance that led to the corner for the goal. He offered Dabo zero protection.

Noticed that he gave a bit back to Vik for roasting him as well which doesn't augur well

Was that the one where all he needed to do with slip the ball to Vik yet bizarrely tried to take his man on and cross to nobody?

There are some parallels but we've got 35 points from 27 games at the moment compared with 22 from 27 in that season. Our biggest risk is not getting an experienced centre half in as we just cannot keep conceding at this rate.

I don't think that's true, he laid a decent ball across in the first half v Norwich after getting to the byline. I'd say he's actually been less greedy of late than he was previously.

It's a bit early for the left sided player but the other one doesn't look capable defensively. Looks potentially useful going forward but decision making is still pretty raw.

The flattest takeover on record, first two games lost. First press conference gave no clue and therefore not much hope. First signings two youth players. The omens do not look good.

It feels like the days in the early to mid 00s where we relied on finding a gem on loan, this is utterly unsustainable to have half of your team as an inexperienced player on loan from a Prem club.

Where are 5 wins coming from? We've won 1 in 9, we've conceded at least 4 at home in consecutive games.

They've made a few changes tactically it isn't us letting them do anything. We've got no options to change things which is a big problem

To be fair to him he presses well when the ball is in front of him but as soon as somebody goes beyond him he doesn't bother

Agreed, in the run up to the first he lost the ball very weakly and then just didn't do anything. They went down the other end and won a corner
