'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

None, they've described it as background noise and a distraction and none of there business. i.e it isn't a major issue for negotiations. Now who else are friendly with Wasps and would benefit from the dropping of the JR?

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Maybe one is lying but its possible between the two they are telling something close to the truth. I doubt they got as far details and specifics and concrete agreements in place for any of the points. But its possible that in initial discussions they've looked at what is proposed and said yep...

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

The worrying thing is, does anyone actually expect SISU to back down after this latest threat. I suspect SISU will explore every legal option available to them before cutting there losses so aren't going to care what this mean for us over the next 50 years and Anderson himself can do f all about...

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

I doubt Wasps are worried about that, he describes it as background noise.

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

I agree with stopping the legal action I disagree with using the football club to try and blackmail SISU into dropping legal action.

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Which is what leads me to believe CCC are behind this, he says discussions were going well and its none of his business. Then after the latest appeal they stop talks saying it is a distraction.

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

I suspect Wasps did this on CCC request. Seems very vague and he does say it is none of his business if the club want to take legal action again the council.

Coventry City managing director says it's 'difficult' not to feel club being forced out of Academy

I think some facilities at the Higgs were broken/not working and there was a dispute over who was responsible to cover the cost of repairs or something along this lines.

Coventry City managing director says it's 'difficult' not to feel club being forced out of Academy

Well said, club are being fucked over again. If it ain't SISU screwing us its someone else.

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

Exactly what I said yesterday, even if Wasps offer does meat cat 2 facilities requirement. I'd question whether simply there is enough space for two massive sports academy to both be there.

    How can CCFC move forward

Not sure we have a way forward, at the moment id be amazed if we have a club in the football league in 15 years time.

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

The club will lose a 500k grant if they lose cat 2 status. So you are asking the club to provide the same service with 500k less funds. Other negatives we will find it harder to attract the best young players as they will choose other cat 2/1 clubs. We get less compensation for any youth...

    Academy Protest Idea's

Possibly I'm not sure what protests aimed at Wasps will help achieve though with regards to the academy. Keep them focused on the Higgs centre and coventry sporting foundation I would say. What other events or venues do the csf work with? Could maybe target some of them.

    Academy Protest Idea's

I've said my piece in that I think its pointless so I'll try with something more constructive. Firstly I'd suggest a boycott of the Coventry telegraph Secondly get the basics set up, a website where people can express there views with a link to a petition, a good idea to get former players...

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

We could triple what ever wasps are offering and it wouldn't happen, its a done deal.

    Tony Mowbray stays!

Step 1. Leak a false info that its between Bowyer and Mowbray Step 2. Watch Mowbray and Bowyer odds tumble as Stubbs lenghtens Step 3. Big bet on Stubbs Step 4. ££££ profit?

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

Theres always the possibility they are lying, but if Wasps latest statement is true about offering to rent some of there new facilities to ccfc then he does look a bit silly now.

    Tony Mowbray stays!

I thought it was going to be Bowyer or Mowbray?

Planning application for Higgs submitted by Wasps

The problem is the indoor area where the new pool is supposed to be built. If the pool wasn't happening I think the facilities would be there to accommodate both. I'm not sure how big the Higgs is/will, so even if the facilities were available is it even logistically possible that two massive...
