Which other clubs DON'T own their stadium ?

Yes of course, once in the Championship. As there our competitors would have access to income streams that we currently have not. In this division, under our current deal, we should be more than capable of getting promotion (or at least competing for it). Right now the main problem suppressing...

Which other clubs DON'T own their stadium ?

There's no guarantee of promotion from receiving all stadium incomes. How many times did we challenge for promotion between 2001 & 2005?

How do you think the table is going to look after Friday's games?

In a strange sort of way it might be better if Notts County win today. They haven't won for 5 games, lose today and that will be 6. Now we all know what happens when city come up against a team that haven't won for 6 games don't we?

    Alternative to a New Stadium

    Rugby: Would you go?

Well the club managed perfectly well for 80 odd years prior to HR ownership being moved to a subsidiary. Within 8 years of separating the ground and "the club" we had no stadium and were £60m in debt.

    Alternative to a New Stadium

It has a better chance of working than the alternative. I.e building a football stadium so you can host a wedding fair. Its never been explained how the new stadium debt would be paid off.

    Life ban for racist comments

But who are you to say that someone should lose weight? What if they don't want to? Does that make them fair game for abuse? The message here seems to be "unless you fit into our idea of the perfect human specimen, then prepare for ridicule and abuse". So your obviously against abuse...

    Life ban for racist comments

Just like racial slurs its a form of bullying, and anyone that's seen bullying first hand knows the damage that can be done to someone's self confidence. Unfortunately not all forms of bullying are treated equally.

    Life ban for racist comments

Why is it obvious? Your still taking a physical aspect of a person and using it as an insult. Making fun of someone's weight could be deeply upsetting.

    Life ban for racist comments

Well not really. In the true sense of the word there is no such thing as a racist comment, it would be a racial comment. Racism is a form of discrimination. From what we know about this incident, is that somebody dished out verbal abuse, and verbal abuse isn't a form of discrimination. What...

    Life ban for racist comments

Couple of things with this. First of all it depends on what they said and in what context. Secondly what evidence is there to support the allegation. Is it one persons word against another or did many people hear the comments? Thirdly people do change, and people can say stupid things that they...
