Here's a romour about the SCG

Thanks, NW. Extending the views of a cross section sounds like the definition of 'extrapolation' as explained by my maths teacher Mr Brock. Guesswork. And the SCG being a 'focus group' sounds like that idiot Blair formed it.

Here's a romour about the SCG

As I understand it, SCG stands for Supporters Consultative Group and it meets with club representatives to give the supporters' point of view. How do they know what the supporters' point of view is? Do they hold meetings and take a vote? Do they have polls? I have never seen SCG meetings...

    Brandon owners: Bees safe

I think that Odsal had a very big track. I believe the old Wembley track was about the same size as Brandon, and they had to remove the sides of the football pitch when speedway was staged.

Warring parties secret talks in last-ditch attempt to keep Sky Blues in Coventry

I think that Sisu want this meeting so that they can push ACL into signing the CVA. I don't believe that they are anxious for that signature because it is the first step on the road to getting the embargo lifted. I'm sure they have an ulterior motive.

Question for trust re away grounds

I like the idea of a special shirt, Johnny. I have to admit that I bought one of the 'League 1 Tour' shirts even though a lot of people thought that it was disrespectful to L1 clubs and showed a bit of arrogance. I just liked the AC/DC design on the front. A shirt to help highlight our only...

    I Hope.....

I hope that if (Sir) Jimmy sees the protest pics and can understand what's going on, he realizes that the spirit he engendered in this club lives on.

Some pictures of todays protest. Great turn out.

I have to say that some of those pictures brought tears to my eyes. Well done everyone.

    Yet more shameless self publicity

No code, just a lack of education in the English language. No, it isn't important.

Protest in Coventry City Centre - Midday on Saturday 20th July

I agree with a lot of the things you say on various threads, psgm1, but not with your apparent vendetta against the trust. This post really was a low point.

Let them stay! Ricoh owners hold last-ditch talks with Football League

Or maybe he uses his professional knowledge to put in layman's terms what is happening to the club as far as finance is concerned. Perhaps he is just trying to help us understand. Did you consider that?

Let them stay! Ricoh owners hold last-ditch talks with Football League

I have to disagree with you, Lord. OSB has seemed to me to be quite impartial up till now. Why would he change his stance?

The usual 'it's everyone else's fault' from TF.

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

    And breathe.............

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

My understanding is that ACL applied to put us into admin to protect themselves when TF threatened liquidation. Sisu elected to put us into admin as a response to this - they got to choose the administrator.

This is all about the arena

If by 'the owners' you mean Sisu, then yes, it was the owners who drove the club out of the city.

Wake up supporters - you are being conned!

For the zillionth time, the council didn't put us into admin. It was Sisu.
