I agree. My only slight concerned (and it is probably unfounded) is that he may have missed out on his 1st choice targets and/or is finding it more difficult to get players on board. I guess it's finding a balance between not bringing in any old player because they are available and not missing...

Exactly. Only thing that would put me off is his age but he can clearly still play at this level.

10 goals, 18 assists last season. We don't have anyone else with those stats. Would I have him back? Probably not, mostly due to his age.
