Jacko spent 23 million paying off his victims

Not personally offended, & to an extent I think I understand where you are coming from. Suarez biting (twice) doesn't make him any less a player...but does suggest he has a flawed character. GG/MJ or whoever should still be lauded by those who love their music & perhaps their image at that...

Why we will probably struggle next season - FFP

Best used only in financial cliques/circles then. If you want the masses to understand properly - best to talk in language they will understand. Or perhaps I'm a bit thick & the masses already knew that?

    Trust Meeting with Football Laegue

That's coming across to me a straightforward anti-SISU ranting lol Fact is in any business situations lawyers seek to pounce on anything which is a bone of contention & that'll earn them a bob or two in the name of correctness. In fairness to the FL & their efficiency (or lack of it) - I guess...

    Trust Meeting with Football Laegue

I doubt the NOPM campaign has any real validity with the FL thinking. Common sense that crowds will even by SISU admissions be lower hence reducing all-round revenue is the factor they will consider.

Why we will probably struggle next season - FFP

Nothing new whatsoever. Although given their comments on other threads I think there may still be a hardcore who cannot work it out for themselves. On transfers & being "out-bid" on salary....these rules apply to all of us so not necessarily true. The NOPM plan might yet be completely...

Jacko spent 23 million paying off his victims

...but acceptable for the abuse/abused to be swept aside or forgotten thanks to a wodge of cash?

if it was a level playing field

For top six places I think along with Peterboro' -MK Dons, Tranmere, Walsall, Stevenage, Crwley, Notts Cty & Swindon are going to be in the mix again... So perhaps you are being somewhat over optimistic? I'm more inclined to think we will be more likely to be worried about Shrewsbury, Rotherham...

    Now McSheffery

Not many are thinking this is a SISU cull as such. More a case of FFP says we can have a budget of X for this & that leaves Y for that. It might just be the case that SP simply thinks they are not quick enough, strong enough or fit enough for the more pacey football he has indicated he wants to...

    Doncaster Belles

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23109804 This says it all doesn't it? It is not about football & ability. It's about money!!! 22yrs gracing top flight of women's football - now automatically placed in D2...to allow Man City Women into the new D1. So now DB players & coaches will likely...

    The penny drops for Presley

We already have one. We have had them before for late filing of accounts - that's the point! We do not fear a transfer embargo.

    The penny drops for Presley

They can put rules in to check whatever they want...if we don't send the information (past masters of that) they can't tell what we're doing!

    The penny drops for Presley

Seems to be worth avoiding filing accounts on time.

    The penny drops for Presley

I wonder how much Otium/SISU directors have "invested" on that one?

    The penny drops for Presley

I think I read there is some sort of formula to accommodate existing squad costs.

    The penny drops for Presley

The attitude of sitting it out shows no desire to play anyway. So we have to pay them whatever happens. If we can pay them less & get them out all the better.

    The penny drops for Presley

Exactly the kind of attitude I would not want in my squad. If they stay we have to pay them not play them -although after the humbling experience maybe they will dig deep & find the right kind of attitude & fighting team spirit - then be welcomed back!? f they go we gain by freeing up some...

When was e last time you felt optomistic as a Cov fan

Mine was in the run-up to PAs announcing Otium were preferred bidder. I felt with 4 (including 2 mystery) bidders - we were highly valued as a prospect. New ideas & solutions, a new feel-good attitude & culture coming in at the top that would immediately begin to cascade down & throughout the...

If YOU could take-over CCFC tomorrow....

If I could take over CCFC tomorrow - I wouldn't!!! Half the fan base are just unappreciative, moaning whingers...a reflection of society in general really, but would not make it a satisfying experience IMO.

    Now McSheffery

Not "everyone" Stu. Plus, maybe SP is not pleased with the attitude/influence on the next generation. For a start a "sit it out" attitude suggests just wants money & not got the desire to play & succeed. If that's the case, yes...let him sit it out & have no influence. It'll cost us relatively...
