8 below par players on frees and loans? Jones was bought in May having come to us at the end of March (as was Vlad) - season was over by the time we'd spent money. Invest whilst you're ahead - basic business sense really. You think we'll get a better opportunity to go up like we had last January...

You're missing the point! We were top at Xmas. If SISU wanted us to go up they would have invested for long term gain...they won't ever get a better opportunity than last year

All frees, loans or using the wage budget! £500,000 spent on actual transfers for good decent players (our players) would have given us quality and a boost within the squad

I'm afraid thats where we are - SISU showed their hand last January. Top of the table near Xmas and the January transfer window about to open. A £500,000 investment tops would have secured us a new CF, CM and CB - we'd have been right up there...that wasn't in SISUs plan though was it.

Why would SISU want to sack him? It doesn't fit into their plans for us to be promoted! SISU don't want to be paying extra wages etc... and all that goes with being in The Championship. They're completely happy with where we are at the moment whilst their court cases drag on. By all means sack...

ask our defence who they'd have more confidence in...............

The thing is we have no alternative but to use the loan system. There are two transfer windows. Outside of these windows we can only get players in on loan or the players that are out of contract (players that nobody want for a reason). At the start of the season we had Armstrong and Murphy in...
