Where has the rest of the time added on gone? France took at least a minute to take a free kick after the 6 minutes went up.

Anyone got any ideas? Folk on here are normally pretty good at identifying a random player.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Chaplin's goals per minute ratio in league 2 is identical to McNulty's, albeit a smaller sample size.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

The consensus I've seen seemed to be that, similar to McNulty, he can't play as a lone striker and needs a bigger man up there with him. Think Portsmouth generally play one up front.

Yet people will say we should get £3-4 million for Bayliss.

No meltdown here, I'd be delighted with the signing.

CJ follows England home & away, must spend a fortune. He is also very much a City fan and is often on here.

Yeah, agree bringing 2 in would be ideal.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

He's young and most his time on the pitch has not been as a starter it seems. I had a quick look on a Pompey forum earlier and they seem to rate him. Seemed they think they should hang onto him and give him more time on the pitch. Also seemed to be an opinion that their system didn't suit him.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

To be clear, despite it not being made available to Robins, the James Maddison money received this year will also count toward SCMP for this period. In terms of SCMP I imagine we could have a substantial allowance this year for wages, that doesn't of course mean the club would give Robins that...

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Nope, no such rule. Only 60% of revenue counts towards SCMP which impacts what we are able to spend on player wages but has no bearing on what we can spend on transfer fees.

England Under 19s pre-tournament training camp

Yeah, he will almost certainly go to the tournament and will likely be there until 29th July, the week before the season starts. Will be like he's coming in last minute with no preseason. Shame, but will hopefully be able to catch up. Playing competitive games may well be a positive.

    Ched Evans

There are enough footballing reasons to not want him but the risk of disrupting the relative harmony we currently have also needs to be factored in.

    Bayliss to Derby

Robins said he'd been offered a new contract a couple of weeks back now. The longer we go on before he signs that the less likely that he will. Kind of suggests he's looking at his options (or you can at least bet his agent will be scuttling round like a rat trying to drum up some interest).

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Turnover definition Under the SCMP rules, the definition of 'Turnover' is particularly important as Turnover is used to determine the maximum wage-spend. Within a traditional accounting perspective, there are usually only three elements of turnover: Match-day Income Commercial Income (such...

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Clubs in the League 1 and League 2 operate within a Spending Constraint framework termed Salary Cost Management Protocol (SCMP). SCMP limits spending on player wages to a percentage of club Turnover. In League 1 clubs can spend a maximum of 60% of their turnover on wages - in League 2, the limit...
