Not a dig at Eccles but more of the whole squad, but Eccles was asked if as captain he says a few words in the dressing room when things aren't going right and he said not really he leaves it to the coaching staff, and then trotted out some cliche about how theres 11 players and 11 captains out...

Will be sad if Robins leaves, yes we should be doing better than where we are at the moment but I really think this team is lacking personal in key areas right now and not sure a change in manager solves that.

What a load of rubbish, seams Robins selection thought was well they did alright on Wednesday whilst failing to realise this a completely new game which requires a different approach and the opposition will be completely different to what we played on Wednesday.

Agree Bassette seems a better striker of the ball than Simms. The one he took from Eccles long pass and the angled drive in the second half, whilst didn't score worked the keeper on both occasions. Feel like Simms has been in similar positions quite a few times recent and miscued his shot more...

It wasn't just a badly executed pass, it was the wrong pass for that point in the game which I think is what some may mean when they say game management. Think when you are the inferior team on paper and legs are tired trying to play intricate passes through the midfield in the 92nd minute...

Would be tempted to brink back Sakamoto on the right if he is fit, I know he's not been great this season but think he adds the balance to the team and links up well with MVE. Bassette deserves a start though I think

Early days but already wondering if long term we will be looking back thinking we should have sold Simms in the summer just gone, if Bassette ousts him out the team then his value could well have already peaked.
