Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

And again nobody seems to know when exactly work started and when it totally fell apart and the council took over, and how much, if any money was properly put into it by the club. Did the club start it and then been able to pay any bills so the council stepped in? If they did start it and...

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

I just don't understand some of the timescales, work started on the decontamination back in 1999, something that Richardson said would cost the club £18million at the time. When exactly did work start on the stadium, and when did the council take over the project? Really can't remember, but if...

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

Sure i heard somewhere that Richardson made alot of money out the land for himself by selling it before actually owning it or something? Didn't the club pay for the decontamination of the Gas works land though? Sure we paid for that, but was all very murky.

    Fargo

Really liked Utopia, glad it got a second series. When is the second series of The Returned coming to screen? Loved that, though have a "Lost" fear that they might not really have an ending and drag it out for a few series.

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

Was he suggesting that club owned the area that the ground and Tesco's is on then?

    Email from FL

The most puzzling people I find on here are those who constantly go on about how well ACL are doing and don't need the club anyway. You know the ones, those that seem to spend an inordinate amount of time counting how many cars are in the Ricoh car park whilst they're passing. You'd almost...

Can't stand any of that, from either side. When ML brought up the council loan to ACL as instead of supporting social services and chaildcare etc I just told him it was emotive bollocks and he backed down and apologised on that one.

    Valuations of ACL

We no longer had sole rights, remember there being a quote from the Higgs side from the Higgs case to Sisu saying something like "The period of exclusivity is now finished and we are now open to discussions with other interested parties to purchase the Higgs share", not exact, but was around...

Apathy? Is that what Chris Eubank calls a Native American Tribe?

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

Which is one of the key points of the JR. CCC had received the £21million up front for the 50 year lease from ACL, at the time of the CCC loan to ACL it was generally valued(even by themselves) as worth less than the amount being loaned. Think that the Sisu QC case was that ACL should have...

No, the exclusivity deal ran out.

    Valuations of ACL

It was exclusivity to buy the Higgs shares that ended, though nothing stopping them still buying them, just that othere interested parties could also buy them if they wished, including of course CCC. I don't recall that Higgs were beating off hordes wanting to buy their share of ACL with a...

What on earth are you on about? Why don't you read stuff yourself so you can make up your own mind, rather than make up stuff to fit the mind you've already made up.

I take it that if i look back on the 51, yes 51(and i'm set at 30 posts a page), pages across three threads concerning the JR last week that neither you, Hobo, nor Astute would have made any comment at all on it? Expect you were all waiting for the judges verdict first?

Anybody could and can, most haven't actually bothered to read them though. To be fair only just finished Day one, so didn't feel free to comment much before as not read it. Doesn't stop many others though.
