    Will we stay up ?

Our fixtures in March: Middlesbrough (H) Derby (H) Rotherham (A) Luton (A) Wycombe (H) Huddersfield's fixtures in March: Birmingham (H) Cardiff (H) QPR (A) Sheff Weds (A) Mess up that run of fixtures, and either club could be absolutely screwed come the end of March. (Or be quite comfortable...

    Major Decisions

The correlation isn't as strong as you suggest, so no. But of course I think O'Hare is a decent player. The amount he's fouled suggests that other teams agree he needs to be shut down.

    Major Decisions

Penalties are more likely to be awarded to good teams. Good teams also get fouled more, which leads to more red cards. We are not a good team.

    High energy Cov players

There's a non-zero chance that Andy Morrell will score more career Championship goals than any of our current squad.

Anyone seen me on there? Last name Boddy.

    Man management this season

Depends how much he's making tbh. We apparently had no trouble bringing in James just a few weeks ago, or McFadzean when we were in L1. The experience is out there and affordable if you want it, but we chose to go another route.

    Man management this season

Agree with you there, but the fact they didn't make your original list speaks volumes. James is the only one with any pedigree in this division. We spent most of our budget on players with next to no experience at this level, and it shows.

    Man management this season

So from your list, we've added just one new decent player since promotion from L1. And people wonder why we're struggling?

    Supporters forum - 25th February

You can tell people are looking for direction in life when they start dreaming up conspiracies that centre around their favourite online message board. But then again, as a CET plant, I would say that.

    Bottle jobs

McFadzean said at the start of the season that experience was what the team needed most from the transfer window. It was never addressed. Instead we spent a (relative) fortune on young players with very little experience at this level. It’s no surprise we seem so naive at times.

    Dreadful January window our downfall

Never mind the January window - it was the summer window that’s held us back. As I said before, we spent the entire pre-season trying to get the L1 band back together, at the expense of actually building on that team, or acquiring players capable of standing out or making a regular difference in...

    Man management this season

This is so all over the place it’s hard to know where to begin. But most of what you’re complaining about can be put down to our squad being so threadbare at the start of the season (due to a combo of a thin budget and lacklustre recruitment) that we had no choice but to thrash players like...

    Wilson

He’s not usually that bad, but no question he was dreadful today. I doubt he’d have been bought back into the starting XI so soon were it not for Wilson’s COVID test, and I have to wonder if he’s still not ready/adjusting to playing with the mask. If Wilson is the better option at this point...

    Match Thread Cardiff

It’s not a meaningless statistic. Keeping possession for the sake of it is pointless, however.

So in other words/statistically speaking, you’d be lucky to make it through half a season without tearing it again.

    Zooming with Jordan Clarke

Are there any City fans at this point who feel like there aren't enough conversations with former players? I feel like the next time I walk into my kitchen I'm going to be confronted by a couple of guys with a USB mic and a 45 minute recording of Kevin Foley's favourite stories about Kyel Reid.

I know how probabilities work, for the record! 5% seems worryingly high to me? Has to be well beyond the average. And does it refer to the chance of him suffering another injury when facing the same kind of challenge, or just his general likelihood of re-injury? If there's a 1 in 20 chance of...

I didn't really understand what MR meant by this. There's a 5% chance of him tearing his ACL again? That doesn't exactly fill me with optimism.
