    2,500 tickets sold for Saturday

Do think though that the club reduce tickets when not needing to and needlessly reduce revenue, would have expected a reasonable crowd for that game anyway. The 5 pound ticket for the JPT semi final was ridiculous, would have still sold out at 10-15 pounds.

Sure the biggest walk up must have been the Middlesborough cup tie at £15 a ticket, think about 28,000 crowd and an awful lot seemed to be buying on the day. Lovely goal by Stern John too, best striker we've had since we got relegated from the top league.

The beer goggles would need to be tinted there!

To be fair, the unseasonably good weather, if it holds, will add to any walk up I'd have thought. Though anybody in the CET stand won't see fuck all in the second half!

Going by LAST's comment, i think i was referring to the old closure, really has been a good while since ventured there. The smoking ban destroyed a lot of the pub business too, especially, old school pubs.

Really needs a "pub run" to the ground, might be the case for some, but certainly is for me, that watching Cov sober is not always a pleasant experience!

To be fair though remember a few years back when season ticket holders were given a free ticket for a friend a couple of times a season, and literally couldn't give them away, same as when offering my Season ticket out if couldn't make the game myself. Today it's pricing, next week it will be...

Attendances ours don't look that bad.

Are you suggresting that a smaller stadium would be more realstic then given our relatively small urban and catchment areas?

That article is full of so many holes that i wouldn't pay any credence to it to be honest.

Agree, but sponsorship opportunities not that great below the Prem, and developing players to sell on never seems all that popular!

If we don't pay reasonable prices to watch the team then we won't be able to pay the rent and/or reasonable players either. Everything is a trade-off, less income, less money for squad. Would have hoped that if the last few years have taught anybody anything, after all of us learning far more...

Maybe charging so little is why they've been in this division longer than us?

    Yeovil Attendance

The two pounds extra on the day has always been a load of bollocks, but apart from that think that ticket prices overall for us not too bad in this league. Pretty much the only revenue the club gets in this league really is ticket prices, a little on merchandise, a little on sponsorship, tiny...

I think below the top league, yes. We probably have the most full time professional leagues and teams in Europe.

    Yeovil Attendance

The club should pay a large rent because it's "a World Class Stadium", but as fans we have to pay corrugated iron shed rates? Is that right?
