Still not much height or pace up front. Presumably the next striker we sign will have an abundance of one of them, although I doubt he'll be ahead of our current three in the pecking order.

Derby paid £5 million for him three years ago, I doubt he's going to be a backup striker, even if his recent record doesn't scream obvious starter. He's clearly an upgrade on Biamou though, who played a lot last season, so this is an important signing. Just hope we've got some money left over...

Never saw the big fuss over masks. They're a pain in the arse sometimes, but they seem to have made a difference, and it's rarely been a problem for me to put one on for a bit. Just glad I'm not in a country where you had to wear them outdoors, which was crazy.

I’d probably sit Rice for this game - he’s played more minutes this season and is more likely to pick up a yellow in his role than Phillips. And if one of them does miss the semi, I’d rather have Henderson play Phillips’ role than Rice’s. The yellow card rules are ridiculous in this tournament...

Really? Wilson was the worst keeper we’ve had in years, how many points did he cost us last season? This idea that we can bring in any one player (let alone a keeper) who is going to single-handedly get us an extra 15 points next year is fantasy.

It doesn’t sound like this guy is a standout keeper at the Championship level, but Robins clearly doesn’t place much value on the GK position, and it’s been alluded to elsewhere that his main priority is the other end of the pitch. I’m perfectly happy for the resources to go there instead.
