    England v Uruguay

Would be better than the other scenario I can envisage. That of Costa Rica now just going through the motions in our game, England winning and the team somehow going home with their heads 'held high.' Hope Costa Rica really go for it against us. If we are to win I don't want it to be by default.

    Italy v Costa Rica

Yep. That's the way I see it. Draw will do for Italy, a win will be needed by Uruguay.
  3. Otis

    Italy v Costa Rica

As the commentator just so very nicely summed up, 'Pirlo closed down quickly again.'
  4. Otis

    Italy v Costa Rica

If this stays the same and Costa Rica win that will mean that Uruguay will HAVE to beat Italy to make it to the next stage. Be interesting.

    Italy v Costa Rica

No, not taking anything away from Costa Rica, but Italy have been shocking. I notice Pirlo has a bit more attention this evening too.

    Italy v Costa Rica

Think Italy have caught the English disease.
  7. Otis

    England v Uruguay

Aslo think the pace of this Costa Rica attack will rip our defence to shreds.
  8. Otis

    England v Uruguay

Totally agree. All this nonsense talk of how England might yet still get through has been embarrassing. We deserve to go home and shouldn't be praying on a sequence of unlikely results to limp us through.

    England - Euro's 2016

Found this interesting on the same subject. A report from 2008 on England stars of the future. http://soccerlens.com/top-20-future-england-football-stars/16341/ Jose Baxter now at Sheff Utd. Mark Beevers now at Millwall John Bostock now playing in Belgian 2nd division. Nathan...

    England - Euro's 2016

January 2013, these 15 teens were indentified (albeit by the Mail). Not sure how many of them have progressed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2260119/Englands-future-15-teen-stars-YOU-excited-about.html Think George Green many have been the player I heard about.

    England - Euro's 2016

Another player I thought might make the step up was Tom Ince, but again after early promise I don't think he has reached the heights it looked like he could.

    England - Euro's 2016

Oh and I wish Kyle Walker had have been fit. Would have him in the team anyday over Glen Johnson, who now seems a shadow of the player he once was.

    England - Euro's 2016

Thought Zaha was going to be a really good player for the future, but he seems to have stalled somewhat, same as Josh McEachran. I hear good things about Morrison and Will Hughes, so time will tell I guess. One thing we do need is a very good out and out goal scorer. A real goal poacher. I...

I'm hoping too that Gerrard calls it a day. Been a good servant to England but now time to move on and he'll be too old for the Euro's in 2016. Fresh blood, new captain.

    new away kit

Right, with you. I do think plain white is a bit dull. Leeds have looked very boring at times .... and played like it too in the past.

    England - Euro's 2016

Group E England Switzerland Slovenia Estonia Lithuania San Marino Just reflecting on England and therefore the future. Anyone else slightly disappointed with that Euro qualifying group above for 2016? Seem certain to qualify out of that I would think and then it will be back into a...

Haven't Leeds any colour in their badge then? I have no idea.

Yeah, you're right Macca. Just a little right wing.

    new away kit

Don't do away games so have no idea about away kits. Does still look anaemic though and rather bland.

Cheaper. And doesn't matter if fans are up in arms this time does it. People aren't going up anyway. That does look really anaemic though I have to say.
