    Sheaf

His energy made a big difference when pressing.

It doesn't sound much now, but at the time it was a lot. You can understand why teams do it, the prize (financially at least) is so big. I think I actually prefer this level to the premier league as a fan (or I will once we re-establish ourselves). Just wish they'd ditch parachute payments and...

To be fair, always enjoyed Bournemouth games in the Prem. At least they tried to play good football under Howe (if a little naïve at times). It's teams like Burnley I find hard to watch (and Stoke when they were there).

At least what we're doing is sustainable (or more sustainable). If we ever manage to get back to the Prem it will have been earned.

Take me back to pre-premier league days any day. Much more competitive. Promoted teams could actually go on and compete. It wasn't all about money and business back then.

To be fair, they're in a decent position this year. Lack of crowds won't hurt them too much as it's a tiny percentage of their revenue. They have to go back up this year though otherwise suspect they'll drop back to their natural level. No issue with Bournemouth. Good little club who've had some...

He means before you were promoted. It is what happened, there's no denying that!

Most of what he says is bollocks.

Exactly, the problem going forward isn't Godden, it's that were not going forward.

    Hamer

He didn't, so he'll be fine.
  12. mark82

    Hamer

It was stupid but in fairness he was pretty much assaulted by Cook. Cook instigated, made the more violent action but because Hamer's tickle was on the face and not the neck/chest then on he walks. It's a stupid rule but it's what it is.
  13. mark82

    Hamer

I completely agree. That's absolutely what he should've done. And frankly, if you're gonna gent sent off and miss 3 games at least make it a proper right hook.
  14. mark82

    Hamer

The decision is right by the rules, but it's absolute bollocks. Hamer has tickled his face, it's a reaction to a far more violent act by Cook which is apparently a yellow because it was just the chest/neck area and not the face. It's an utter farce of a rule.

Yeah, they don't need to be either. They're better than us but still feel the need to play dirty.

Nope. Steve Cook's action against Hamer was far more violent. Hamer was stupid but if one is sent off they both should be.

    Match Thread Bournemouth Match Thread

It's not. It also makes talk of people like Dabo being premier league quality look absolute nonsense. He's good enough for out level but that's it. We just aren't at the required level and doubt we ever will get to the level where we can compete in this league without serious investment. That's...
