    Transfer Rumour Mario Mandzukic?

Don't you feel so sorry for Watford and their striker problems......

I think what we now all know is violence is fine as long as you keep it below the chin.

    Hamer

Lamela, like Cook, should also have been sent off.

Think the point is that the rules are stupid rather than refs in either situation made the wrong decision.

How VAR didn't either say no red card, or Lamela sent off too I have no idea.

Similar red card in the Man Utd match. Lamela threw an elbow into Martials throat, Martial reacted to it with a tiny tap to Lamela's face. Only Martial sent off. Such a ridiculous rule.

Really pleased to see Josh doing well. This is just what he needs. If he has a good year there's a good chance he'll be in and around the first team next year.

Doesn't make you less right. He's missed 3 games in his career prior to last night's red.

And Hamer has averaged a card every 4 to 5 games through his career. Taking a 4 game sample size is just ridiculous.

How many games do people.think Hamer has missed in his career thus far due to suspension?

Hamer hasn't through his career either.

Yet people love Michael Doyle's temperament.

    Hamer

It's the second time he's been sent off in 172 games. Let's not make this out to be a recurring thing. He lost his cool but what Cook did was far worse and was apparently only a yellow.

Cook's push was definitely in the chest/neck area. Went in with his elbow then extended. Was the far more violent action yet he remains on the pitch.

Makes me feel old. Realised it's 20 years since our last season in the premier league earlier. Can't quite believe that. It's been far too long.

In fairness, we've seen the results of spending beyond our means to get back to the premier league and it all going wrong. We probably have a different perspective to most other clubs and their fans.

It's fun playing the big teams. I guess the ideal situation (finance aside) is to be a bit of a yo-yo club so you get the best of both worlds. Winning things regularly and experiencing those big days out (when big days out are a thing again).

The year you were promoted from the Championship you made a £38.3m loss. It's not even up for debate, that's spending beyond your means. It paid off because you made the premier league but it could've gone wrong. It's not exactly a fairytale story though is it, you were bankrolled by a very...
