Match Thread Swindon Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 26th Sep

Fuck me, watching updates on here is an awful way to follow when it gets tense (although I appreciate the updates). Everyone stopped updating in injury time, presumably too tense. I was refreshing madly. Great result! I think I prefer being a better team in a shit division, this winning feeling...

They have a reporter at the match who reported the goal earlier so I'm confident we're winning

It's weird, the BBC site are stuck on 0-0 and the 5Live guy just reported 0-0 and then corrected it to 0-1 to Exeter. It's 1-0 to us, an own goal

Yes, I see your point, I'm just world-weary when it comes to Cov throwing away leads. A win would do us so much good, I daren't believe it's possible

Oh, nice. Good news. I'm terrified they'll come at us now trying to keep their unbeaten record.....

Is it Devon or Dion? How are we doing, I have no means to listen anymore. The stats say that we've had 5 shots to their 0, is that a reflection?

    Look at our rating!

Wouldn't a better way to look at the rankings of the teams be to just print the tea,s in order of their position in the league? That would make us 67th...

    The real retained list....

The only surprise for me was Lameiras. The others are all fairly obvious. I think Tudgay deserves a thanks, he's always been ready to play when asked even though he is clearly passed his best (I noticed he was in the Derby team at the last Highfield Rd game). So glad we kept Haynes and Burge...

Match Thread Scunthorpe v Coventry Match Thread - Sunday 30th Apr

You'd rip up your contract if you thought you weren't very good? Just give up and go and get another job? I think I would play on and make as much money out of the short career as I could. I don't think he's that bad is he? Scores the odd goal and contributes sometimes. I like him...

Match Thread Scunthorpe v Coventry Match Thread - Sunday 30th Apr

I'm not remotely offended, I don't understand why fans would have hatred towards a player who is clearly committed even though he's not that great. I guess if a player has done something specific I can see why someone might notlike them but I would never hate a player for not being very good...

I thought you might have meant Turnbull. I'm not being easily offended if that reference was aimed at me. I am just asking who it is. Strange, I really like Tudgay, I think he's past it and limited but gives his all and is said to be a good guy. I met him and he was very friendly...

Why are you referring to someone as 'the turd'? Whoever it is you mean, have they upset you?

Seems pointless playing loan players at this point. Giving experience to our own youngsters seems a decent move...

I would imagine that Tudgay and Gadzhev will be playing their last game for us today, probably why he's started with them. Can't see them being retained. I've never heard of Camwell either,is he a child?

Is it even possible to survive?

Well I guess tonight has sealed it really. It was a vague hope and now no hope. Build for next season, play the kids and hope a few of them hang around for a decent run at League 2. I remember having conversations about how we'd win games next year after the last two relegations so we'll see....

Is it even possible to survive?

The goal difference would be much better were we to win 6 games of course, at least 6 better anyway. I think it's impossible to win 6 in a row, as said they will be knackered after the efforts on Sunday and presumably a monumental piss-up on the way back to Cov or in come hotel in London. I'd...

Is it even possible to survive?

If we were to win all 6 remaining games, (which let's face it, we won't) would that be enough to stay up? I guess it would require one of those on 45 to win no more than 4 points and the others not to get many more. Almost impossible I think, especially given that we are away to Sheff tomorrow...

    Oggy

I must have met Oggy on 6 or 7 occasions over the years, as a kid he signed autographs for me, he was captain the day I was a mascot and he was around when my nephew was a mascot and when my niece was and each time he was the same: polite and friendly but in a very sullen way, he just seems like...
