Personally I think it’s fair to expect a £7 million striker in the Championship to hit the ground running. Or a £4 million+ centre back to actually play!

I dunno, my hope was that £35 million in transfer funds would mean the squad would be rebuilt to withstand an injury to Ben Sheaf!

My main concern with the recruitment is that big money has been spent on players who are yet to make an impact, while obvious gaps in the squad remain. All of the signings appear to have ability, I’m just not yet convinced it’s £20 million worth.
