Just got back. Simms needs to play number 9. Simple as. Bassett and BTA flatter to deceive. When EMC and Wright are back you have 3 players for the LW and CF position which can rotate. We need a new RW. Kitching also needs to play.

Don't get the DK hate - he never said he’d throw loads of his personal wealth at transfers did he? He cleared c£60m of debt. Funds our losses. Sold assets (Vic and Gus) re-invested pretty much all in new players (identified by recruitment and Robins) and spent money on the training ground...

Its all about mentality and culture. Both Robins and currently Lampard (who's only been here 5 mins to be fair) seem to not be getting a tune out of players who are deemed talented - by our peers. Recruitment looks to have been good. But just not worked weirdly.

Yeah that's true. But with this we will invest in a number of players with the hope 2/3 go for big money and then we’re good again. Can't expect all transfers to work…
