I will just add this maybe something I should of done above but I didn't want to be to confident, a win tonight would move us up to 12th with a game spare, leaving us 3 points off 10th and a further 3 points off 7th, which if we could finish around about there would represent a fantastic season IMO.

That's a fair point Noggin, but we haven't really had an attacking outlet on the pitch during that time so although it sounds like an excuse it's been among the reasons why we have taken a dip in form.

    Walsall Thread

Okay so tonight we play Walsall at Sixfields. Pressley has said that Carl Baker and Franck Moussa are doubts ahead of the game, although Nathan Delfounseo is likely to be avaliable after injury. The visitors to Sixfields tonight have only picked up five points out of the last eighteen...

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

Just so you know ashbyjan to my memory there have been two previous games at the Ricoh this season CCLFC, one against Brighton and the following game against Cardiff. They probably will get a bigger turnout at the Ricoh and I appreciate that from there point of view, I apologise if you feel I...

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

No but it's not like CCLFC have been forced out of Coventry like CCFC and still bares the City's name, I also don't see the point why the Ricoh would make any odds, this game could have been played at St Andrews, Villa Park, Molienuex, under different circumstances.

I know that's what I said, against Brighton and Cardiff.

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

So your comment before lamtara: Is not an attempt to highlight the opportunity of getting more fans at the Ricoh than there would be at Sixfields to prove a point? If so I apologise, one question if so why has the Trust not promoted CCLFC games previously?

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

Okay ashbyjan we have argued on topics on this forum before but maybe this time you can put me straight once and for all, in your post I have highlighted the following: "The Trust board were approached by CCFC Ladies and asked if we would promote their important cup tie to our members" - Now...

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

The problem is Zam and I mentioned this the first time CCLFC played at the Ricoh, has there ever been any public backing from the Trust or elsewhere for people to support CCLFC at the Oval? No. Yet the moment they play at the Ricoh the Trust is up in arms trying to get people to go and see them...

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

I think baring in mind the Ladies game SBT has already advertised this season I am not sure there was more people at that first fixture than there was at Sixfields, 400 I think the attendance was.

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

As I said earlier in the thread Public Pressure is great but there has to be an end game to it, in this case it would either be to highlight the issues at our Club to force the owners to see sense and move us back to the Ricoh, neither of which will have any affect if your pushing public pressure.

Proposal from Sky Blue Trust Members Meeting: Support CCFC Ladies on 16th March

Is this an argument of which came first the chicken or the egg? My point being it's irrelevant really who did what first, both sides need to be rebuilding bridges with each other, I'd be a little annoyed if I thought that a Group was supporting an act that conspired against me, yet I can see the...

Most likely, I agree there are certain development projects that could would not suit the Club but if a Train Station was built at the Ricoh surely this would suit all?

Potentially then another £25,000,000.. Even so if they paid all of that it would still be cheaper than building a new Ground? Could CCC not generate some of that money by selling the land around the Arena to the Club so that the Club could build on it, i.e a Train station which has been muted at...

Bare in mind Wingy I didn't put a price for the CCC's 50% of ACL in there but how much more can it be than the other 50% which the Higgs owns (£5,000,000/£6,000,000 from memory.)

The Club have stated that they won't take up a Rental deal this has been said many times, do I think a Rental deal is wrong for the Club, in some ways yes I do, but not with the terms that you have quoted as I said in another recent post Sisu are planning to invest £3,000,000 per season to prop...

I'd like to know Why mate trust me, but should we believe what we are told, Trust has gone between all parties and there is no incentives for the Club to return under the landlord that is ACL.

No the question of why wasn't aimed at you specifically, but the time scal I have put on it is that either way if Sisu have to build a new Stadium it's not going to be up for another three years and in three years at the Ricoh they have a chance to sustain and win back some trust from the fans...
