    Mark Robins Decisions

Most certainly, it was a pitiful decision.....and particularly in light of MGoaldick's idiotic booking at Stevenage. I thought Robins gave us an insight there just how much he still has to learn.

Dan makes it onto football focus

    Mark Robins Decisions

Water under the bridge .....tho' his biggest mistake - playing McGoaldik in his last game - was a sign that he's not a great manager.

I would never pick McSheffrey again

At Sheffrey's age he is going to find it hard to play once a week let alone twice. He's lost a few pounds but just cannot recover in time - not physically possible. When fit he offers something different but not even close at the moment and this has been the case for over a year ffs.

    Paulo Di Canio

Di Canio aint the full ticket. He provides a bit of colour to the otherwise utterly dull world of professional football but his politics stink.

    Paulo Di Canio

The issue of morals and sport is an interesting one. For me Di Canio is tainted by his salute because he hasn't publicly acknowledged that it was stupid or that he renounces any form of fascistic association. That is black and white, however, in the case of Marlon KIng who has served a...

    Paulo Di Canio

George Orwell (thank God he changed his name from Blair :p) understood that Communism was at best theoretical, in practice it was just fascism with a different label. He fought for the left in Spain but saw at first hand atrocities on both sides. Orwell, unlike the vast majority of writers, knew...

    Paulo Di Canio

Communism means quite different things to many though.....(I know history... what went on in Russia, etc.) Fascism, on the other hand is quite different and will forever be an ideology associated with suppression of minorities and has no place in modern Europe - a continent that has overseen...

    Paulo Di Canio

Lazio though, for whom Di Canio played for, is a club well known for its right wing tendency. This goes way beyond simply being right of centre; Mussolini supported them and even recently the SErbian right were embraced by the "ultras" who had a subversive role in the way the club was run. Di...
