This typical of most Sisu apologists - twisting words with their weasly logic.
You can't be honest, admit it.
Answer this; after the sale of Turner was the squad strengthened like for like. Irrespective of what the fee was or whether it was disclosed or reported, were we better or worse off...
It's only one example though.....how about the disclosed fee for Ben Turner? Nothing like his true worth.....a fee approaching his market value and he's about to become a PS player and we're left discussing F&B.
Anybody with any honesty must see that this and countless other similar decisions...
Diehard - Here's another fact. Sisu are required by LAW to pay the rent.
They own the club and running it "legally" is their first duty......making retrospective judgements on what was "fair" is neither here nor there and, as you say, propaganda.
Bollocks. Utter Bullshit.
I'd be saying something along the lines of if they'd got one of King, Westwood, King, etc. on a decent contract we could have paid the rent for five years.
Just saying like.
I mean run the fucking football club properly - don't fight petty slanging matches in the press...
Him going public is interesting.
Sisu are not interested in making a decision based on footballing sense or what would be perceived as "popular" by fans.
Black is going to ask for assurances. Him going public puts Sisu in a difficult position. Going to be interesting.:guitar2:
The bottom line is SISU will have to meet their legal obligation.
Carrying on as they have done - any excuse to delay paying their debts and painting ACL as "not caring for the club" etc. - is pathetic.:jerkit:
Doubly pathetic when clearly it is Sisu who do not care for the club as the last six...
IDENTITY OF TYPICAL COV FAN: Here you go.
Someone in rehab, punding uncontrollably in the corner, muttering to himself and biting his fingers...occasionally gets to his feet walks across room and beats head against wall.
:p:p:p
In terms of what has gone on before this is the likeliest sequence of events.
Its a bit like the judge who prior to giving somebody probation finds out about all the "previous".
After taking this into account he'd give Sisu 20 years minimum.;):pimp:
All good points Singas Pore but we're looking for a new way out of the impasse.
Tony Linc is suggesting one possibility - not perfect but better than nothing and certainly better for the club which is currently dying on its feet.
Sisu - as most recognise - are clueless about football and even...
If that were possible that actually sounds like a good idea.
At the moment F&B is held up as the reason Sisu will not agree to pay the rent. I think this is bollocks because I believe Sisu originally wanted to force ACL to sell the ground by forcing their bankruptcy.
Now we're told they cannot...
It's flannel, not that the Sisu brigade will actually have the attention span to actually read it let alone realise that, once again, they're being sold BS.
Him saying we must strive to achieve "a level financial playing field" - is Sisu speak for: SPIN THIS SHOITE SO WE CAN CARRY ON UNDERMINING THE CLUB WHILE APPEARING TO CARE FOR THE CLUB.
(a fair few of the fans are so thick they'll actually buy it)
That's for sure. What amazes me is that season after season we get slightly worse.....it is inexorable and undeniable and yet perhaps because of optimism? or because some think our owners are good for the club ???:facepalm:they still think we are about to turn it around.
This is NOT going to happen.
