Love that Cov fan shouting in the background. It's mad to think really that a lot of our current squad weren't even born then.

I'd like to think it was the one scored in the 93rd minute in January at Coventry

    Championship thread 25/26!

The ideal outcome is that despite a gallant effort and wins against Middlesbrough, Millwall and Ipswich that Leicester City are relegated by a single goal on goal difference

We beat them when they had a much better squad than they do currently

I don't think not being bothered about finishing second means aiming for it

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

My opinion on it is that it is just too large, there will be so many points at which spend can happen that it becomes a huge industry to try and control it. I mean they can obviously do a far better job than they do currently but it's probably been so dysfunctional for so long the cultural...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I thought you were speaking generally. It's clear Birmingham is a badly run council. It's strange that the government wishes to create even more large councils like them imo. The two tier system works ok where I live.

Simms' performance at QPR was so bad that I think it's Wright to start every game provided he's fit enough for the remainder of the season

We've pressed all season, especially early on with BTA.m, it was a big part of our success. We were just that bit more effective with it on Monday because we've added a midfielder who could anticipate where the ball might go beyond the press.

You've been advocating for a change of formation which hasn't happened. It was a few tweaks as what anybody with half a brain said was needed.

Your interpretation of the rules would make them inconsistent and unfair

I don't think sell on fees are part of their objective really. If they think they can get promoted they presumably will be pulling in some extra recent from the USA which means that transfer sell ons are less important than they might be for us.

    Boro player ratings

I think Sakamoto was very good as he is when he's on it with the intensity he played at last night. When he's not playing at that intensity he is much less effective.

I think there will be games where he might prefer Kitching's ability on the ball, especially against teams that sit in. At the moment though it is Lati's shirt on merit. Btw they've got a very similar scoring record: Lati 4 in 91 Kitching 4 in 97

He's been there before I think. I don't know what their budget is like these days but it feels a bit like they've got a hangover of expectations from their days of being bankrolled by a wealthy benefactor. It's similar to Blackburn in some respects.
