No point asking mate, it’s not going to happen, and we would lose on penalties anyway. I’ve got tickets to see Les Mis tomorrow night.

Why are you consistently moaning about being censored on here before it’s even happened?

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

We obviously need starting calibre players at LB, CB and GK. I imagine Lampard will want upgrades at ST and RW as well. It’s a much bigger job than we faced last summer.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

So tariffs on China coming back down again for a bit, although still higher than before. What happened to the 4D chess that Trump was playing to get manufacturing jobs back to America?

Could be any number of people on here given the current mood on this forum.

What are you currently listening to?

That fake American growly thing that he does (see also: Lewis Capaldi) is unbelievably irritating. For people who think the Gillette jingle is what passes for emotional songwriting.

The cracks in the team are at the back. This team has had little problem scoring goals at a consistent rate this season, especially under Lampard.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Think it’s clear we need a bigger and better summer window this time round. Of the players we signed last summer, only one would be considered a likely starter for the opening day of next season, and the rest will count themselves lucky to feature here at all.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

What’s the evidence he’s on £15k a week? Considering the obscene market value we set ourselves for English LCBs when we paid £4.5m for Kitching, Binks at £1.5m doesn’t seem like terrible value to me. And I say that as someone who doesn’t really rate him much at all.

    Referee

If you're going to use it for obvious offsides then you have to use it for micro offsides as well. Personally I wouldn't use it for any of them. Somehow the game will struggle on.

Paterson would have no chance starting in a high-intensity game like this one. I think Lampard will do whatever medical science will allow him to do to start EMC on the left.

    Premier League thread

Spurs have also been awful People seem to mistake brand-name teams like Man Utd and Spurs having crap seasons as an indication of falling quality, whereas I think the quality in the Premier League is generally improving and starting to cluster Hamer-style around a fat middle.

    Relegated players

There is nothing to suggest Bell has what it takes to play in the Championship yet. I expect we will be in the market for a true #1 next season whatever happens, and if it goes well then there is no guarantee that Dovin gets back into the side.

    Eccles

Eccles is a perfectly capable midfielder at this level and is probably on a favourable (to us) contract, but as the current 6th choice midfielder you would expect him to move on in the summer.

The vast majority of non-EU arrivals come in on work and student visas, which do require vetting, of course. Saying they are “mainly” male is also a healthy amount of spin considering the split is 52-48. Would love to know what language and skills vetting you underwent for your own immigration...

Agreed - it’s why I went home at HT against Man Utd last season. I was home so quick!

Believe it or not, my suggestion to watch Liam Neeson performing as a Scottish national hero wasn’t all that sincere either. I would say that predicting defeat against the combined might of the Premier League is a bit more grounded in reality than writing off our chances of winning away at...
