For all the SISU/Fisher/Waggott apologists on here.....

People get slated on here for talking about FACTS when they are often IFs. In the absence of FACTS we are reduced to talking about IFs. Given the shortage of FACTS surrounding this club, this board would be a lot quieter IF we couldn't talk about IFs! :)

But did we get the best possible compensation for him leaving? Leeds United paid £2.6m for a promising teenager from the second tier... in 1996! If Bigi was sold for the rumoured £1m, then I'd suggest we didn't get the best possible deal for him.

For all the SISU/Fisher/Waggott apologists on here.....

I was interested in the following line from the article: I just think it is sad that he had to move to Newcastle to learn, in his words, the value of hard work and to see players training as if their life depended on it. We may not have the money to buy the stars Newcastle has, but that...

Arsenal FC: Rotating the Squad Will Be Important Against Coventry City

I'm half hoping Robins plays plenty of our youngsters. It can't really hurt given the form of most of our senior players!

    How many will Arsenal score??

I'm going to take a punt on Cov being contrary and winning the game 1-0!

The replacement refs definitely made the wrong call and cost the Packers the game. Replays show Jennings had possession before Tate, not at the same time.

I mainly follow the Packers, but I do like to watch teams with certain QBs. So I like Big Ben's Steelers and I used to like Manning's Colts. Not sure I can get with the latter being at Denver as I'm not keen on them.

    Jordan Clarke at it again...

The Edge has taken to Twitter too. According to Google Translate, he said: "We must do so much better, but I still believe that there is a good team here." I wonder if Robins had a long chat with the team today?

It's all in your head ...

Some good points there Godiva. I'm not going to tell another fan not to boo, because that goes against individual freedom, but I do think there is a shortage of positive messages around the club and maybe us fans could do more to help Robins turn this club around. Can we come up with some ideas...

    Arsenal Sell Out Home End

If you're in our end you'll have to sing our songs! ;) Enjoy the game and please pop back on here afterwards and give us your neutral view of our Sky Blues' performance. I think we Cov fans can sometimes tend to be a cynical bunch (as a result of bitter experience) so it'd be good to get a...

We Are Completely Bereft Of Confidence - Robins

A couple of thing with the interview. 1. It looks like a transcript. People generally talk like this. You don't really notice it much in a radio interview, but you do notice it written out. Newspapers etc tend to just pick a few quotes out so you lose a lot of the waffle people normally come out...

We Are Completely Bereft Of Confidence - Robins

Barsley fans said they got down to about 12 club players and a load of loanees - I wouldn't mind a bit of pruning, but as we saw last season you also need some back up for later in the season so I hope we're not left that short again!

    Site Viewing

I find the site logs me out after 15 minutes so I don't always bother to log in if I'm just browsing. Quite a few of the guests are probably members that just haven't logged in.

Are any of AT summer signings any good

Why do Cov fans tend to pick on players who are just coming back from injury? Maybe the club rush them back into playing 90 minutes too quickly...

    Players on Twitter

Aye, and therefore it's probably not the worst meal in the world for them to be eating (assuming it is part of a balanced daily diet for a sportsman).

    Players on Twitter

Normally I would agree with you on this, but would they learn much from watching Cov in last five games?! How not to do it perhaps? ;)
