    The not so impossible mission

A big positive today was keeping a clean sheet. We may not score many, but we do tend to get one goal every game (just two league blanks early in the season) so if we can keep the ball out of our own net we look like we might walk away with 3 points from most games. Edit: But McGoldrick has...

I think there's quite a few people on the forum (77 members logged in a minute ago) but I think they're probably a bit wary of getting all excited about being 1-0 up because of bitter experience this season. PUSB

Apparentl Joy threatens liquidation if half stadium is vetoed

On your last point OSB, would that matter in a scenario where Sisu breached the agreement first by not paying the rent? Or is it that it would be best, from a legal standpoint, for ACL to keep playing by the contract ahead of legal proceedings?

Paolo: I would love some city players...

Some of the Swindon fans think Di Canio's talking us up because his team plays better when they think they don't just have to turn up to get 3 points. I also noticed that they've dubbed McSheffrey, Kilbane, Elliott, McGoldrick, Wood, Bell and Murphy "The Magnificent Seven"!

Robins not afraid to make drastic changes

The squad maybe unbalanced in terms of distribution of wages, but that doesn't necessarily run counter to the idea that we have not been achieving what we might expect to have been achieving with the wage bill set where it is.

Robins not afraid to make drastic changes

There's a fairly strong correlation between expenditure on players' wages and league performance. Fisher likes to tell us we have one of the highest player budgets in this division, but that is not being matched by results so far. Could this squad size be the reason? Yeovil probably don't have a...

Mark Robins, a manager saying it like it is.

There is a logic paradox in your suggestion. If Sisu are idiots then logically their #1 choice is flawed. Therefore, #2, the option not picked by idiots, would actually be more suitable for the club than the #1 choice. :)

    Oldham vs Coventry Match Thread

Re: Brown, Maybe he hopes that by keeping the centre back pairing settled we will start to see a better understanding that can help the defence tighten up. I'm still wondering what has happened to Malaga though. Maybe same language issues as those reportedly behind the Edge decision?

Positivity - Coventry's Man of the Match

Just to tidy this up, the clear winner was Moussa, ahead of Murphy and Baker. Let's hope he can keep it up! :claping hands:

    Hussey off??

I didn't say he was being a disruptive influence, I just flagged up that there could be other factors at play and therefore without such knowledge it would be wrong, in my opinion, to blame Robins anymore than it would be to blame Hussey.

    Hussey off??

If Hussey did not want to be at CCFC - and IIRC there was some speculation this summer he wanted to go - can you blame Robins if he takes a view that he only wants players that are fully committed to the Sky Blue shirt? I have no idea what has gone on behind the scenes beyond what we've heard...
