I saw @SkyBluesTalk was being unfollowed by one or two. I guess they must unwittingly think it is one person rather than a forum of all sorts - including jesters such as Otis! :D

    Fisher on CWR

I'm sure many of us would jump at the chance of going back to Highfield Road... if it hadn't been sold off, torn down and had houses built on it! Bringing that up does absolutely nothing to solve Coventry's current problems. Why did he bring it up? Was he trying to suggest the club was magically...

    Fisher on CWR

If anyone hasn't read OSB's post on ACL last week, I strongly recommend they do so: http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/23076-ACL-lets-have-some-facts

    Fisher on CWR

A few lines I got down as best I could from Tim Fisher speaking on CWR: "I've never bowed to threats and will not bow to threats. This has to be resolved and I'm sure it can get resolved." "It's about a community asset. For ACL to produce an analogy of being a like a house and a tenant is...

    Cov open talks with McGoldrick!?

Who knows what his wages would be, but if Cov offered him £5,000 a week that would be £260,000 a year. Just saying.

And, without a fair amount of building work, there's only one stadium in Coventry realistically big enough to support a League 1 club with Championship ambitions...

It has been hard to find confirmation of when the rule changes were made, partly because the Football League has removed the statement from its website, but I have no reason to disbelieve this account on the Yeovil forum from June 2005...

I know what you're saying, but I thought the general feeling in football towards that was "never again". Maybe you're right and if push comes to shove the fans might get a say - but that there will be no guarantees it'll be heard. :(

An alternative ground? I wonder if Sisu have read Football League regulations with regards to home grounds? The FL website won't allow me to copy and paste the rules, but they can be found here: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20120702/section-4-clubs_2293633_2125725 Some of...

I think you've misunderstood me. Sorry, I probably wasn't clear enough. As I understand it, £250,000 covers the basic matchday costs etc (in the words of CCFC: "we have continued to pay match day costs to ensure that ACL is not left out-of-pocket" and I think there's more info on this figure...

Fisher appeared to suggest earlier this season he only wanted to pay about £150,000, now we're told that £250,000 covers basic running costs! Anyway, going with that figure, if SISU only paid £250,000 what income would ACL receive towards paying off its mortgage? And how much could ACL bring in...

Well, they won't be able to rent the coffin to SISU to bury the club...

And how many season ticket holders do we have? 9,000-odd? Would the club refund those fans who can't get in?

You'd think people who consider themselves top businessmen would know that the value of their investments can go down as well as up!

Free Radio report a Statutory Demand issued to CCFC

Half of the Bigi fee went on the academy. I'd guess the rest probably covered running costs which extend much further than paying rent.

Who would want to take a tenant with a history of not paying its rent?
