It's not rocket science... But it is sports science; Biomechanics, nutrition etc. Yes they should be fit, but I'd hope they are looking to be fitter than their rivals. :)

I don't know either. I was hoping there might be someone on here who knows more that could enlighten us. I think fitness work / conditioning etc should be a basic part of the game, even in the lower leagues.

    Bury fans...

Oh, I dunno, it did add some colour. The fans will move on though - they can't stay stationary forever...

Thanks Jacko. You have to assume Carsley will be on at them to keep it up. I think the players (particularly those that have been here a while) will be feeling the benefit and will be keen to keep at it themselves. But if there is no one there to monitor them in the same way I guess it might...

I was wondering how big a loss our fitness coach will be. When Darren Robinson was here our injury record was good and we proved ourselves capable of winning games at the death, which we hadn't been able to do for a long, long time. I'm guessing the the club will appoint a manager before filling...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

This article says they can expect 29 points in penalties if and when they exit administration. Is that right? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21471924

I'm just going to throw my tuppence in on the first two only for now, if that's okay OSB. 1. Does CCFC need to be profitable? I would have thought the answer is "No" - not for us fans (though for Sisu the answer might be different)! If the question was does CCFC need to break even, the answer...

    Fisher is on!

Didn't Fisher say the other day that our FFP playing budget next year would be about £3m without the extra revenues? What is Tranmere's this season? About £1.5m?

Read the whole thread (or please accept my apologies if you are being sarcastic). ;)

We have to pay acl £24m for revenue rights

An article written by somebody independent? Is there a link? Or do you mean it was somebody in the media other than Moxley, who made his comment in a radio interview yesterday? I'm not having a go, I'm just wanting to read/hear for myself where possible the various sources of news feeding this...

We have to pay acl £24m for revenue rights

I said thank you for seeking some clarity. Jan has fetched us an answer from one side at least. I also asked earlier in this thread which interview Fisher had discussed it in, but got no answer. Also AFC does not say what his source is for his comments at the top of this page (p4). The whole...

We have to pay acl £24m for revenue rights

Are the revenue streams CCFC sold and the revenue streams with an alleged sale price of £24m comprised of identical revenue streams? e.g. if the club is seeking access to the naming rights now, were they also part of the income streams previous sold off by the club? (And if they were it seems a...

Which interview did Fisher say this in?

    its the end for us

But how do you define "what it is worth" and would Sisu ever be prepared to pay "what it is worth"?
  17. Sky Blues

    its the end for us

The bloody thing needs to be paid for first. The Ricoh wasn't dropped on Coventry by magic fairies. It was built and it came with a price tag. That price is still being paid off.

    club statement

Nail. On. Head. Tim Fisher saying a £400,000 rent is now "fine" doesn't seem to have generated much comment, despite being a rather large climb down from seeking "League 1 average rent". This would have given me some hope that if Sisu were finally beginning to meaningfully negotiate...

SISU were offered 150 k a year rent deal

I don't have the inclination to listen again right now, but it's there on the breakfast show listen again bit on the CWR website about 2hr45mins (or slightly earlier). As PWKH said he wants to release his notes, we might draw our own conclusions about who does not want those notes released...

SISU were offered 150 k a year rent deal

I think PWKH said on the radio yesterday that he wanted to release his notes from the meeting, but lawyers stopped them - something about a flurry of legal letters warning that they would face a legal fight that would cost £100,000 even if they were ultimately proved right in the end! In my...
