Dulieu - Give The New Board Time

We have good players, just that the squad is too thin. We are certain to become a cropper. Usually when you have to and injuries kick-in you have to bring in some kids and blood them early. We are bringing in the kids now. What's going to happen when we get a few more injuries?

    Adam Le Fondre

We haven't really got many bargaining chips have we!! If we are talking about swap deals then I think Freddie would have been a good option for both parties, though as you quite rightly say, swapping a striker for a striker doesn't help the squad much in terms of our strikeforce does it. So who...

very true observation about the front two playing too far apart. They didn't operate as a striking partnership at all.

    When Will Our Season Come?

Luck? Let's talk about mismanagement on a grand scale by the likes of Richardson, Robinson and Mr. McGooity! Been too many wrong choices behind the scenes to consider luck. Don't think we have hardly been at all unlucky to be honest. In fact, you could suggest quite the opposite, some seasons...

    Man of the match today?

Biggy Ree Marner for me. Only way I can pronounce his name properly if I break it down and keep saying it to myself. :p

    Highlights from today!

Be interesting to see if referees' opinions would differ if a few of them were asked to comment. Really divided opinion on here.

Have to just say that's not quite right about the 2 chances. Nugent also missed a sitter in the second half just on the six yard box where he completely miss-hit is and the ball screwed wide and Matt Mills also had a great chance just on the six yard box from a corner but he miss-hit that one...

I thought Juke did well too.

    Highlights from today!

Agree. No doubt that Vassell's was much worse.

Well he did have the best shot of the game for sure. The reason I am so disappointed in him is because I keep hearing things from managers and coaching staff saying stuff like "you just watch him go." Think Ranson said that very same thing before the beginning of last season. The coaching...

    Nothing to be ashamed of

That didn't pass me by. Leshtur though no great shakes were indeed extremely organised. Still don't think we have enough in our locked though to score many goals. Juke is not an out and out goalscorer, neither is Platt. Sheff is the only player who has that poacher instinct, but he's seem...

    Fair enough.

    Highlights from today!

when I first saw it I thought yellow. From that angle for me, that still looks like a yellow. Wasn't the same straight on lunge as Vasell's and he did try to come from the side slightly. It's all about opinions at the end of the day though! :p

    not too downhearted

Agree. We need a goalscorer. Le Fondre seems like the sort of player we need. I have pretty much given up hope on him though. Think we will be outbid.

    Highlights from today!

Would say looking at that that Vassell was definitely a red. Baker howver looking at that from that angle seems to only warrant a yellow.

You thought Bell looked good? What game were you watching? He got caught in possession on at least 3 occasions. Pretty sure it was 4. When he is on form i really like the guy. Today he was nowhere near like on form. Besides that shot he pretty much well did nothing. I have also to ask who is...

    BBC 5 Live

RADIO 5 LIVE ANALYST MICHAEL GRAY Coventry v Leicester. There was only really one side in it when they came out for the second half. Leicester were the ones who controlled the game. They got themselves in front and then they started passing the ball around to make Coventry feel really...

    Crowd

Think people are forgetting, kick off this year was the SIXTH AUGUST. A much earlier start than usual. People on holiday has to be a factor too. That along with the apathy, the recession and CCFC's long record of total abject failure all contribute. Was nearly 15,000 City fans here today...
