Absolutely. We're also a bit slow. I'm all for players in wide positions, whether they be wingers or wingbacks.

I have no doubt that, at the time, such formations worked well. Football though, like all sports, evolves. Whether for better or worse is a matter of personal opinion. If a manager thought such a formation would work in modern football, I'm sure they would use it....but nobody does. I also...

The first ruled out goal I can understand (even if I disagree with the decision). Goalkeepers are a protected species these days; any contact (even perceived contact) is whistled. The second one, though.....well, you see those paid frequently, though it was marginal.

Perhaps Barton shouldn't have been rushed back? I'm sure he's a better player than this but he does look off the pace. Don't think Kilbane has been terrible but he doesn't really impose himself on the match like I think he should (though he did impose himself on someone's shin.) The game is...

I would say the same about Hussey.

First time I've seen McGoldrick, looks like he'll be a good pickup. As for Baker, I don't think he's been terrible today, but I can see why he's a League One player at best; good touches interspersed with complete cockups.

It would be nice if we would give the ball away in midfield a bit less, i.e. never. :whistle:

Wouldn't have a problem with his appointment. Think he'd do quite a good job.

I got 94, but haven't been since 2000. Tell you what though, some names there are completely unfamiliar. Who the flan are Ady Williams and Matt Heath? And there was a season where Morten Hyldgaard appeared the most in goal?????
