Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

Warwick beat me to the punch with the point about the Qatari Dream League. Although that was a different journo. I don't know about making up interviews, I would have thought that sort of thing was frowned upon legally speaking, but I still don't buy that the story is 100% legit. I agree about...

Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

I'm inclined to agree with the first part of this - if there were any truth to this, surely PWKH isn't going to confirm it on Page 4 of a thread on Sky Blues Talk? And no, I'm not saying he's lying, I'm merely pointing out that if this were true it would probably not be confirmed on here before...

Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

I suspect all the author has done is put some names and details together (things already in the public domain), make up some 'direct quotes' from Haskell (has he spoken anywhere publically about CCFC? I wouldn't have thought so)....and boom, we have an article in the Sunday Times. Or am I being...

Preston Haskell IV to buy Alan Higgs charity.

After the Times' reporting of the Qatari league thing that was based entirely on a satirical French football blog, I'm very skeptical about anything they report. I won't be waiting with bated breath on this story.

The way McSheffrey is going, I'd have sooner given it to Murphy.

Wow. I just.....wow. If this is accurate, I'm speechless.

    support...

No. I would increase my interest in Melbourne Victory, as well as my local team, but my interest in English club football would be over.

    ACL Statement, Saturday 23 March

While I agree with this, it's frustrating we never get to hear the other side of the story! I'll give ACL some due, at least someone is trying to engage with supporters and provide us with some information.

SISU apologists seem to be looking uncomfortable !

I understand that very well. Of course the fanbase is confused. Does that mean we all need to turn on each other because some people favour one side's approach over another? I have tried very hard to evaluate the facts. I was left with the view that both sides have made mistakes, both...

CCFC moving out the Ricoh in big lorry

CCFC Holdings hasn't been placed into administration yet. CCFC Ltd has, and apparently this arm of the business has no assets. So I don't think The Great Clearance has anything to do with that - been suggested that since the administration may have broken our lease that we are no longer...

SISU apologists seem to be looking uncomfortable !

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. The tiresome back-and-forth of people who appear to have taken sides (neither of which, it seems, is the football club) is purely destructive. It's pathetic, really. All this over two groups of supposedly mature, clever business types who are both...

    Acl are bullies

I'll feel exactly as I do now - angry that everyone involved in this sorry mess has allowed this scenario to happen through their own stubbornness/negligence/incompetence/greed (use whatever adjectives you feel are appropriate).

    Worms and Scum

Forgive me for being all hippie on the issue, but surely anyone who contributes in some way to supporting the football club is the "blood of the club"? Whether you are a Day 1 season ticket holder, someone who pays on the gate for their matches, someone who only goes to away games (yes I know...

    Fridays outcome?

I believe OSB has answered elsewhere; but from what I recall, they must prove either that our liabilities exceed our assets, or that we cannot meet our obligations when they fall due.

    Fridays outcome?

Whatever the outcome, I just hope it won't have horrible repercussions for the football club. I suspect that is horrendously optimistic, however.

    Your beloved SISU: Why?

Now to be fair, I don't remember being blackmailed to give up my share. I remember having no bloody choice in the matter ;)

    Sheffers: Sign or Release?

I think he should be released. Age and wages count against him. His salary could be better spent improving the team, as well as trying to find a younger, better replacement (although good left sided players are quite hard to find).
