I guess if we were offered a 0-0 away from home against Middlesborough before the game, we'd have taken it. A clean sheet would do us the world of good mentally, too. It's just that it's soooooo boring to watch.
I think the players will be capable at this level, but we have too many learning to play at it at the same time. Perhaps we'll improve as the season progresses, or perhaps we need a boost of experience in January. Far too early to write any first team regulars off IMHO.

First time in ages I've seen players heads drop and them bicker between themselves. Not great.
Being serious for a moment, we had a 6 month break from playing. Add into the mix injuries, suspensions, the step up in quality, the lack of crowds at home, and a player with COVID19, and it's no wonder we have no rhythm.
I don't think there's much he can really do to change it for the better tbh. We have no game changers on the bench, especially when we're down to 10. Sadly, there's no one on the sidelines today who's better than those we have on the pitch.
