Well I've been saying that in Cranie and Keogh as a centre back partnership we lack a bit of command, muscle and strength. Cameron brings that by the bucketload. I would keep him in the side and I have said eleventy billion times, Keogh is a fullback.

It's all well and good saying he's one of the most talented players we've got, but if he only shows that once every five games or so then you have to ask what bloody use is he? Far, far too much dross and ineptitude amongst the small pockets of sublimeness.

    Positives from Today

Negatives though were that we have no support for Juke up front and often leave him isolated, the midfield are not supporting the attack and are sitting too deep and we are a bit too predictable and slow and a lot of our stuff is telegraphed to the opposition. There is also too much sideways and...

On, but don't follow any players. Only follow Derren Brown, Stephen Fry, Eddie Izzard, Simon Pegg and then just a few friends and local contacts. Always on the look out for City posts though.

    Someone didn't do their homework!!!

Anyone know how Barnsley play? If so, can you quickly scribble down their tactics on the back of a fag packet and send it into the club before Saturday.

    Attendance Vs blackpool

I was bang on as I said I would be. Said between 14 and 17,000 and was proved right. Never, ever only going to be 14 people there though was there! I covered all the bases.

Gary Deegan and an injection of pace

I would like to just thank Sisu for bringing in a brand new midfield signing as promised.

    Harrison's coaching...

Well he is the one consistent factor at the club with all the comings and goings of managers and we are still tactically naive at times. Not sure, but I can see why people would be starting to cast a critical eye over him.

Ian, that perpetual first post game caller on CWR every match

True. You can change systems all day long, but with the players we've got it's going to be a continual battle to make any system work.

Yep. Definitely improved as the game wore on. Clearly apparent to me that the bloke is a full back!!!

    Someone didn't do their homework!!!

As I said on another post, he runs around a lot. Harsh, but fair. Admire the effort, but that's about all he has.

Ian, that perpetual first post game caller on CWR every match

Down to CWR at the end of the day. They have plenty of people ringing up. All they need to say to him is that there are other callers whose voices need to be heard and he can wait a while in a queue. Would love to be in the commentary box when he rings in. Bet there's load of rolls of eyes when...

Wouldn't give Clingan 7. :o Murphy - 6 Keogh - 6 Cameron - 6 Cranie - 7 Hussey - 5 Klingan - 6 Thomas - 6 Bell - 4 Mc Sheffrey - 5 O Donovan - 5 Juke - 8 Keogh got caught out at least 3 times in the first half with this diagonal ball. He very much improved as the game wore on but he needs...

I think he has been worse than most of the rest of team. Without any shadow of a doubt in my mind.

    Problems

    1. Juke's strike partner (whoever that has been) doesn't get close enough to him and so when Juke knocks it down or lays it off there's no-one there within a country mile. 2. The midfield is not supporting the attack. There is a massive void between the midfield and front two and our...

But what does suit his style and just how many managers has he now played under here? Still don't condone the booing though.

    Someone didn't do their homework!!!

Think they did it about 4 or 5 times against Keogh and then switched to the other side with Hussey. We only reacted after going a goal down to make the necessary adjustments.

Does he have a Bat-phone or what? It's like a direct line to Commissioner Gordon.

    Someone didn't do their homework!!!

Yep. Think that is very amateurish of a professional football club to not do their homework on the opposition.

It doesn't do any good at all, but at the same time, while not condoning their actions I think people are so frustrated so it was perhaps a little understandable. I tell you what doesn't help, a succession of City managers coming out and saying what a good player David Bell is.
