    No new players then.....

It is hard to say how ideas like this pops up, but maybe someone at a board meeting said something like: "Thorn begs us to find the money to buy another midfielder, but as we all know there is no money for purchases as we didn't get anything for Westwood, Gunnason or King. Any ideas?" And...

    No new players then.....

Oh I am 100% serious. We have used up all the conventional options over the last decade ... and that brought us here. Time to be creative to get us forward again. Maybe this idea won't stick, but without trying something new we will only look down. And btw - in the absence of a sugar daddy...

Or maybe they really do try to get some loan players from PL and really have the wages from King, Westie and Gunnar to spend.

    No new players then.....

I don't think it is BS - I find it very likely the board are looking in all corners for money to stabilize the club - including funds for player trading. It is being rediculed, but personally I applaud the board for trying to think out of the box.

That surely depends on how long SISU owns us and how successfull they are getting the books balanced?

    No new players then.....

There could be a way around this. If a new fund was set up with those 250.000, the money can be channelled to the club as a loan. The loan should carry an interest of e.g. 10% p.a. The loan should have no periodic installments but should be repaid in full at the date the players original...

BTW - there should be a difference, otherwise it makes no sense. Maybe different shareholder agreements?

I agree with your comments about the moderation. On the other hand I think you will find that he is not swaying away from a direct confrontation and that is maybe what we need to clear the air.

Yes, but we all ask questions about the way the club is being driven and managed. THAT is what he can/should communicate to us.

Usually A and B shares have different voting rights. It is very likely B shares holds less or even no voting rights, but in rare cases it is the other way around.

This board really needs to step up their PR towards their fans and the investors they want to attract. And Brody is probably the best there is for the job. I think he has been held back by the rest of the board being overly cautious.

    Hoffman to make offical bid

Forget about me - stick to the topic. To sum up my views: - SISU are looking for investments - they want to acquire the arena as first priority and to share the risks as a second priority. - They are not looking for an easy way out - they have cut costs and will continue to do so. The cash...

    Hoffman to make offical bid

Actually you started to make this personal. It's all fine you question my wisdom as we clearly do not agree on the substance. Do you really insist on making this a question of who's education and experience into finance, management and investments is greatest? You go first then, I am all ears.

    Hoffman to make offical bid

I am sadly not on the clubs board, not a member/employee of SISU or even an investor in one of SISU's funds, but lets play anyway. If you only have £1 million to spare - then you shouldn't invest in ccfc or any other company where you couldn't withdraw your investment whenever you want to...

I think your calculator needs new batteries. And please consider the difference between losses including and excluding player amortization and asset depreciation.
