Are SISU/Board preparing us for Division 1?

I don't think they have accepted relegation (yet), but things being what they are, propper management will dictate planning for the worst. As we dicussed in the three FAQ's they won't put in more money. The club will have to learn to live within its means. We both agree this is for the best...

"Close to having the funds to buy part of Ricoh Arena" (More SISU bullshit)

Excellent service announcement! Nobody would turn up if there was no pub next door????

Follow the money ... might also a good lead.

"Listen to me carefully…there is no-one else." Not my words but those of Ken.

Sisu's options: If the club can sustain itself on the lower cost structure and player trading, they need do nothing. They can simply sit and wait for either a suitable bid or start collecting interest on the loans. This is what they are working on - getting the club to live within its means...

Why should we let Orange Ken run our club?

Yes we should sack him! Oh wait ... we can't. Only the shareholders can sack/appoint the chairman.

Council/ Higgs must not sell to Sisu

I always thought Goebbles said something along: If you tell a lie big enough and often enough people will eventually come to believe it. He (Goebbles) was a master in advertizing :D BTW - If you keep on saying sisu are the mother of all evil, people will eventually come to belive it! :pimp:

Council/ Higgs must not sell to Sisu

Yeah, but I didn't say which year. Only that when we leave this division it will be up - not down.

have we given up on the hope of loans?

Why does it make any difference how many days he spend in England? He is chairman of the board and so not expected to be present in the boardroom more than a handfull of times a year.

Council/ Higgs must not sell to Sisu

Ken says in his interview that he hopes to see losses 40% less than last year - he (and we) won't know for sure until the auditors have signed the books. So he is not saying we are still losing 5-6mil a year, he's saying costs are down and will probably show we are en route to break even. When...

    New contracts

That all happened under Ranson and the new board have many times complained about this and said it won't happen under their regime ... we'll see.

"Close to having the funds to buy part of Ricoh Arena" (More SISU bullshit)

I think you will find that 'more valuable' is in regard to the balance sheet. 2 new players and a few players on new contracts. 8 players gone - all out of contract. The result is the assets have increased.

"Close to having the funds to buy part of Ricoh Arena" (More SISU bullshit)

Sisu themself are not investing any money - they manage funds that do. If sisu themself makes profit or losses are irrelevant to the funds and the investment into this club. Money to buy the stadium will come from new investors setup in a new fund managed by sisu.

    The Orange One Speaks

It's from an interview ... he answers different questions. Previous losses were around £6m now he 'like to think' (as in he can't be sure until the auditors have been over the books next year) the losses are 40% less. The 40% less operation costs are much in line with OSB's and my calculations...

"Close to having the funds to buy part of Ricoh Arena" (More SISU bullshit)

Looks like there are many ways to read this article and place bits and pieces into context that suits specific agendas.

have we given up on the hope of loans?

I think AT only wants players who suit the system and will improve on what we have already. The club have probably had a string of offers turned down either by the paraent club or by the player. Not everybody wants to be send to Coventry! Still more championship clubs lack money to buy players...

Keogh - No rifts at Coventry

But it still makes you wonder who planted the story and what the intention was :thinking about:

Council/ Higgs must not sell to Sisu

If you want sisu out you really need to think again. If the club(!) acquire the stadium new owners are much more likely to come in! The exit strategy for sisu is simple: 1) Break even 2) Have a decent squad (in this division) 3) own stadium ... or at the very least a part of it with the...

Oh but the largest creditor is ... sisu. They more or less dictates the terms.
